Best mouse to use with Xim Apex?
« on: 11:25 PM - 06/11/19 »
Not sure is this a general discussion topic or support topic. But I need help so, support right?

Probably asked a 1000 times but Iím too lazy to look for it. What is the best mouse to use with Xim Apex?

Hereís what I want.

VERY IMPORTANT
- Made by a good and widely known company(I love Razer)
- It has to have a lot of programmable buttons.
- Onboard memory macro support with rapid fire macros.
- Under £60(can be used and I would appreciate if it was from amazon)

LESS IMPORTANT
- High DPI
- RBG
- Under £40

Ps. Iím very picky so give me as many options as possible. I noticed that once one moderator(or anyone higher like our mighty and loved Administrator OBsIV) answers the topic no one else joins in so if you reading this think you have another good mouse that wasnít yet mentioned feel free to join into the conversation.

The best mouse will be the one is more comfortable for you (shape).

By that token, anyone will say his own mouse is the best for XIM. These type of discussions are pointless. For a technical point of view any modern gaming mouse has a top sensor that should work well with XIM.

Razer Deathadder Elite is great if you searching for a good Allrounder
+ 60$
+ Good Sensor
+ Nice Design
- No onboard Memory so no Macros

Logitech G502 ( used alot by myself)
+ Onboard Memory with Macros
+ Hero Sensor
+ Extra Sniper Button
- 70$
- Heavy

G Pro Wireless (used by me now)
+ Onboard Memory ( Macros)
+ Hero Sensor
+ Lightweight 80g
+ Best Wireless Mouse
- Expensive 120$

i would recommend everyone the g pro wireless if the Price isn't that important.. the bes mouse i have been using so far..
if you search for a good priced mouse go for the G 502 it fits all your demands..
Razers often dont have onboard Memory... but thats kinder important for Xim if you want to use Macros and go for your DPI and HZ u want.

First of all, I love the way you displayed all the advantages and disadvantages of the mice and I would appreciate if other people posted their choices in this format.

Razer Deathadder Elite: No
Canít sacrifice macros. Macros are too important for me.

Logitech G502: No
Price over the price limit but not too bad however I specified that the mouse has to support rapid fire macros which Logitech mice donít support. Or at least not on the on board memory.

G Pro Wireless: No
Well over price limit.

what do you mean by rapid fire support? you can program this yourself on logitech software.

get a logitech g305, but before that tell me your handsize and grip style (claw, fingertip, palm). Whatever the user said above is 100% right, doesnt matter if you have macros or rapidfire, if you cant aim with a mouse because it doesnt fit your hand + grip style, 0 point

Not the best mouse for Xim Apex but  lots of Buttons, 3360, macros, on board memory and £ 39.95.

Lioncast LM25: No
Not made be a widely known company.

Logitech G305
This is what I was told a while back by antithesis.

Unless connected to PC, Logitech macros donít repeat and canít be used for rapidfire.

What you do not know is not widely known then?😁

I donít know what you mean. By widely know I mean:

Razer
Logitech
Steelseries
Zowie
Corsair

These are probably the 5 most popular ones.(This is not a full list)

Slightly less popular would be:
Roccat
Alienware

In that case I know a mouse that fits all of you mention but, I have recommended it to the point of exhaustion and now frankly I do not care even to mention it, who has it, knows how good it is for XIM, its advanced macro support and plenty programmable buttons makes any scripting device a non-essential buy.

It has to have at least additional 3 buttons not counting any scroll clicks
