Regarding SAB

As you may know using SAB on HIP in most games break's the movement of strafing left and right. So i came with a work around to fix this!

This requires 3 Auxiliary profiles.

First One is for W.

W - This Sub Auxiliary profile should have the same exact setup as your HIP profile, but with inherit unchecked and nothing but SAB added.

A - This Sub Auxiliary profile should have the same exact setup as your HIP profile, but with inherit checked.

D - This Sub Auxiliary profile should have the same exact setup as your HIP profile, but with inherit checked.

Doing this should Allows W to have SAB movement without breaking the movement mechanic.

Another thing i came across.

If the user wants to use A,D with SAB

you need to do this;

Add SAB to the ADS TAB.

A - This Sub Auxiliary profile should have the same exact setup as your HIP profile, but with inherit unchecked, but uses the ADS translator.

D - This Sub Auxiliary profile should have the same exact setup as your HIP profile, but with inherit unchecked, but uses the ADS translator.

^ using this would require a adjustment to the sensitivities.

I will make a video tutorial, I do not know when it will be up tho.

Can someone screenshot a picture of how to set this up? Kinda confused

If i don't enable aim-assist, Should SAB choose 0 or OFF or other value in Firmware 20190613?
If i don't enable aim-assist, What is the benefit of the right SAB values?

thanks!

May i ask how SAB helps aim assist and how to take advantage og it?

the aim assist algorithm doesnt only take the right stick aiming into account but to some extrend also the left stick character movement.
keyboard inputs are very different to those of an analog stick which can cause aim assist problems.
your crosshair might get pushed away or it feels like the character is coated by a resistance bubble that you need to break into to aim on the target

SAB helps with that while you are moving, especially while making faster strafe movements.
it doesnt really increase or decrease the aim assist strength, it just helps to get a better aim assist behavior with your mouse

Hi

Why are you only adding SAB to ADS?

Apex Legends
100 SAB (ADS profile only)

Battlefield V
70 SAB (ADS profile only)

I have been using WK Analog Keyboard for the last 5 months and I have found it to be completely useless!, So I'm back to logitech Keyboards and I am using the amount of SAB between 15-35, doing great.

What do you mean?  I got a wooting one and i thought i noticed an improvement when i first switched.  I did also remember to disable the WASD key in XIM Manager and set WASD to analog on wootility

To be honest, XIM feels NOTHING like it was before.  Someone had mentioned that was because Fortnite changed the aiming mechanics so lately, its been pretty horrible and my games have taken a steep decline.  It was especially noticeable when the recent update came out and we had to cut our sensitivity in half.  I wish there was a way to go back to the update before that change, cause i was used to it and was doing awesome

As for the thread, i leave it at default which i think is 0 because i use wooting one

0 is still not off on sab,, maybe try turning it off and see if that helps.

Make sure you have the latest BETA firmware, retail does not have it I don't think. If you are on the latest BETA, or the latest retail does have it, make sure you have your "expert" mode enabled, then go to your config and press the 3 dots (...) under the movement tab. You'll see the SAB/Simulate Analog Behavior there. Be careful though, too much SAB on hip may cause sprint cancellation issues depending on the game. If you want to put SAB only on the ADS, you will have to uncheck the inherit tick box on top of the ADS config.

Hello guys. I am using a value of 120 in BFV.

I can't play with SAV off. My movements just get square. Without any mobility, at least in BFV. I haven't tested it in another game yet.

With this value I have a lot of agility in ASDX keys, which are that move my player.

What is negative about using a high value of SAB?

you no in BF5,  in the in game setting theres a setting where a little more of a press in one direction can cancel the other. its in options in controller tuning!  if that numbers high you will have a problem, lower the number if you dont want to use as much SAB.
