I have been using WK Analog Keyboard for the last 5 months and I have found it to be completely useless!, So I'm back to logitech Keyboards and I am using the amount of SAB between 15-35, doing great.

Any sab over 10-15 in apex legends cause your character to stop sprinting which is detrimental in that game

Thanks Od1n, so, your suggestion is 15 for all games?

yes that is a very good base value
its low enough to hardly be noticeable in terms of keyboard movement precision but already large enough to make an actual difference with the aim assist, one that you can indeed experience
the tradeoff is good in my oppinion plus i havent seen a game yet where a value of 15 causes a problem.

the aim assist algorithm doesnt only take the right stick aiming into account but to some extrend also the left stick character movement.
keyboard inputs are very different to those of an analog stick which can cause aim assist problems.
your crosshair might get pushed away or it feels like the character is coated by a resistance bubble that you need to break into to aim on the target

SAB helps with that while you are moving, especially while making faster strafe movements.
it doesnt really increase or decrease the aim assist strength, it just helps to get a better aim assist behavior with your mouse

What SAB value are you guys using for Black Ops 4?

Anywhere from 10-45. I currently use 20 on hip and ADS, it seems to do nicely. For a while I was using 10 SAB for hip and 35 on ADS but I really like the fast strafing of the keyboard with stock 1/2 attachments. At 15-20 I hardly notice the degraded strafing but the AA is noticably better. Don't go above 65 I believe in bo4, your sprint will break randomly. I guess for ADS you could try higher than that but be warned strafing will suffer

On fortnite, some of the time you *can't move and you have to repress the key if its not on simulate analog behavior so for that game i have the value set to 5 just so it will work

SAB - 5-15, higher than 15+ feel like it helps more with AA, but not good for micro movements. I managed to play without the help of AA and enjoy the game.

Regarding SAB

As you may know using SAB on HIP in most games break's the movement of strafing left and right. So i came with a work around to fix this!

This requires 3 Auxiliary profiles.

First One is for W.

W - This Sub Auxiliary profile should have the same exact setup as your HIP profile, but with inherit unchecked and nothing but SAB added.

A - This Sub Auxiliary profile should have the same exact setup as your HIP profile, but with inherit checked.

D - This Sub Auxiliary profile should have the same exact setup as your HIP profile, but with inherit checked.

Doing this should Allows W to have SAB movement without breaking the movement mechanic.

Another thing i came across.

If the user wants to use A,D with SAB

you need to do this;

Add SAB to the ADS TAB.


A - This Sub Auxiliary profile should have the same exact setup as your HIP profile, but with inherit unchecked, but uses the ADS translator.

D - This Sub Auxiliary profile should have the same exact setup as your HIP profile, but with inherit unchecked, but uses the ADS translator.

^ using this would require a adjustment to the sensitivities.

I will make a video tutorial, I do not know when it will be up tho.
