xim link polling rate delay?
« on: 07:38 PM - 04/15/19 »
What polling rate should be used with xim link? I read somewhere that there is a built in delay. So 1000 hz will really be 500hz, and 500 hz will be 250 hz, etc. Is this true?
I have noticed switching from xim apex to xim link speeds up sensitivity substantially with no settings changed. Any help will be greatly appreciated!

1000Hz should be used. With lower polling rates the data is sent multiple times to fill the empty packets. On 500Hz each packet is sent twice and thats why the sensitivity is doubled. Apex does not do this natively. This happens only through Link.

Thank you for the reply! So if I am understanding this correctly. Xim link should not be used at 500 hz; and as a result, I should set my mouse and xim apex to 1000hz?
