G502 Hero polling rate ?

For those of you using the G502 Hero are you getting a consistent 1000hz polling rate? If not are you still running your Xim Apex at 1000hz?

The reason I ask this is because I bought and tested 7 G502 Heros. 1 of them was consistent at between 900 -1300 hz. 6 of them were not. This is a problem and I wonder how many people run this mouse without even knowing it isnt performing.

I agree with you.  They are not consistent 1000htz.  So, I run the mouse Logitech software at 1000 htz and the Xim at 500 htz.  I seem to get the best results that way.

I tested Steel series Rival at 500hz and it is faster then the G502 @ 1000hz

Wouldn’t you want to run the mouse on 500hz (since it doesn’t poll constantly at 1K hz) and run XIM on 1000hz ?

No, you can't run the XIM at a higher polling rate than your mouse - it will be looking for info that just isn't there. Running the mouse at 1k and the XIM at 500 insures that every single time the XIM pings for mouse info it will receive a steady stream whether the mouse is responding at 799 or a consistent 1000 hz.
