How is it known that they perform differently?

The display type used can make a big difference in how aiming can feel.

Sensitivity can feel different with changes to mouse dpi, Synchronize, in-game sensitivity, and curves. If all config and XIM settings are the same then there are differences between the mouse DPI used.

It'll likely be a) different mouse DPI, b) different XIM Apex response rate, or c) different Sync settings in the game config.

Exactly the same gear at exactly the same settings should feel exactly the same.

Check the mouse DPI in Logitech Gaming Software. Your DPI is likely set lower than your friend. Ensure you are using on-board mouse memory to save DPI settings.

If not, it may be mouse polling, Apex response rate or Synchronise settings that differ.

One of these mice may not have their onboard memory DPI configured correctly. If changes are made when LGS is set to automatic software detection these changes won't stay with the mouse when used with XIM.

Have your friend send you a picture of their firmware and Manager version numbers in menu-global settings and compare this with your own. Sensitivity scaled differently with older builds.
