My Apex Legends ADS accuracy settings

After some time spent playing AL, I have finally settled on a really accurate aiming set-up:

If you would like to try them for yourself, my settings are:

Mouse
Swiftpoint Z (PMW3366 sensor) at 1000 Hz, 3200 DPI, XXL cloth pad

In-game Controller settings
Sensitivity - Insane [8]
Sensitivity (ADS) - Very High [5]
Response Curve - Classic
Look Deadzone - None
Movement Deadzone - Small

Apex Manager settings
Hip
Aim - 70
Ballistics editor - X 24, Y 11
Synchronise - Default
Smoothing - 0
Y/X Ratio - 1.00

Aim Down Sight
Aim - 70
Ballistics editor - X 24, Y 11
Synchronise - Default
Smoothing - 0
Y/X Ratio - 2.00

Disclaimer
These settings will not make you a God at apex Legends! They will not get you in the top three every game, and you'll not be dropping 10+ KDRs every time you play. But they may help you to aim more accurately and to stay on target. The rest is down to you.

Really interesting set-up, am I right in saying this means your hip doesn't have any aim assist but the ADS has a big aim assist (bigger than 7)? I can see why you've changed the Y/X ratio though, a lower ADS setting in-game makes Y movement very slow I've noticed..

It's not dismissive, I just don't understand the logic behind it. I would have used them in a game vs moving targets. Stationary targets are always easier to hit. You don't need very much aim assist for that.

Correct. No Hip AA in a match, but sticky ADS AA, especially rotational, which is really helpful in CQC.

Your question assumes that I don't use these settings in a real game, when of course, I do. Unless you've just worded it badly and mean "Why don't you show a video of you using these settings in a real game?"

If you meant to ask the latter, then my response is: There are too many variables in a real game, which will obfuscate the basic aiming details. By showing the video that I did, you can see how accurate the raw aiming is without AA, gunskill, and situation getting in the way.

Stationary targets are always easier to hit. You don't need very much aim assist for that.

And again, be aware that targets in the tutorial don't have aim assist.

Does the curve reduce sensitivity? 70 seems really high for default sync.

It does, making slower mouse movements (micro adjustments) more accurate.

Ceebs, i tested ur settings i really like it but hell how do u Controll the recoil if I spray my gun is flippin in the sky. Any Tips?

An great positiv point is the tracking of the enemy and the strong Aa.

All the guns in AL have predictive recoil:

It's just a case of getting used to the recoil and pulling down on your mouse, or tap firing or waiting for the gun to centre after shooting.
You’ll notice that when I used the Alternator, I fired first to the stomach and let the recoil track up to the target’s ‘head’. I then tap fired it at the upper targets.
With the Hemlock, I tap fired and pulled down a little with the mouse
With the Havoc and the Flatline I pulled down a tonne, but wasn’t very successful even then. They both have a lot of horizontal recoil and so are best tap fired at range; easy with the former, tough with the latter.
It’s just about practice and building up muscle memory, HypeR.
