Apex Legends XIM4 ballistic curve (UPDATED 2/18/19)

the analogsticks of your controllers are not perfectly centered. thats physically impossible. they are sending constantly their position to the console.  the deadzone blacks certain spot in the center out, if you have your thumbs on the sticks, you correct the drift, but if you use a xim then its annoying. in close quarter its not as @#$% as in mid- or long range battles.    every controller drifts slightly different.
it would be cool if we had a slider in the option menu for fine tuning... not just 3 steps

Only changes i made were to steady curve and large dead zone, and bumped up sensitivit
y to 5. Im using the death adder elite with all other settings the same. Using classic and no deadzone just couldnt get the right feel. Steady helped me alot. Im also on an xbox one.

What is steady curve?

The curve is an in game setting. Apex has 4 curve settings. Classic, steady, fine aim, and another that i cant remember now. Most people use classic curve, but i found it a bit too fast.

Ok guys so I'm not a ballistics curve pro but I decided to tinker a bit with the settings and have come up with something that feels surprisingly responsive and accurate. After changing to these settings I went straight for 9 kills and a win...I was able to track my enemies and my shots were super steady. Here is the ballistics curve and I will also include the personal settings I'm using to achieve this. Let me know how you guys feel about it. Hope this helps!

Xim 4 settings :
Y/X Ratio : 2.00 (for both hip and ads)
Sensitivity : 4.50 (for both hip and ads)
Steady aim : On (for both hip and ads)


Game settings :
FOV : 80  (personal preference this is what works for me)
In game sensitivity : 6
ADS sensitivity : 6
Response curve : classic
Look deadzone : none (gives it a super responsive feel - give it a try)

Personal settings:
Mouse : G502
Mouse Dpi : 12,000
Polling rate : 1000 hz

(The SA3 firmware is not compatible with the PS4 Pro/Slim - It has been confirmed that this ballistics curve + settings is also working properly for other versions as well. Please do not flash your PS4 Pro/slim to the SA3 firmware.)

My Xim is flashed to the SA3 firmware version 4.00.20161228 which can be found here :

With the latest version of the xim4 manager.

The SA3 version I am using might play a huge part in the performance I am getting with the rest of my settings I'd recommend you also flash to this version in order to get the same performance. I'm assuming a different version might not give you the same results. If you go this route I suggest backing up your settings.

bro. you are Wery nice person. you helped me a lot. two months that I own xim 4, I realized that with him something was wrong or I needed to stop playing shooters. Of course, I obviously shot better than on the gamepad, but it was clearly far from ideal. I do not know what SA3 is (i play on ps 4 slim), but without this I applied your settings and your ballistic curve to the apex and the shooting became just perfect. the sight doesn’t react so much to recoil. now I’ll buy a good mouse and I think I’ll reach my ideal. I will be glad to play legends of apex with you. my psn ZHAKAS_DMN. thank you very much. nice that there are people who think about others. can you explain more? How can a ballistic curve improve aiming and shooting so much? and how to play without it on the PC? is there a spread and return of such strong ones as we do not have?

you must go into Global then force download new game library and Apex will be there.

game feels strange.

Does anyone else feel like it’s weird when they aim and stuff like almost the speed is almost slowing down when you fire the gun Ect feels when I actually start to attack someone it gets all wonky idk just just smooth or I have full control over it like black out feels super smooth this is one the only

I agree it feels odd like I train ca targets and ok then go online and I barely
Can get kills now

Im not having any issues, still getting kills and decent damage. Won 2 matches last night. But i have not touched my settings or anything since earlier when the game came out.
