is this due to the new xim apex i just picked up? never noticed it before.....the game will be smooth and fine then random times it will get all shaky but not for long, then it goes away.....is this a setting i have wrong or have nothing to do with the apex?

Check your mouse sensor and surface for debris, a hair or poor surface space could cause this issue.

What mouse and mouse pad are you using? Also what DPI? It could be your mouse sensor or mouse pad that is at fault and in that case buy a better mouse and mouse pad, I personally recommend Logitech G. You could also try cleaning your mouse pad and the bottom of the mouse. For cloth pad Id wet a clean micro fiber cloth then wring it out and scrub the pad with it. Hard pads are pretty easy to clean because you can dust it off w/ a duster or run water on it in the sink.

Yeah it's usually dirty sensor and/or mouse pad. Especially if it's "random".
