Are you using identical equipment, the same console, controller, and cables? Also, which console do you use?

In the meantime I recommend charging the controller directly with the console. XIM should be disconnected while charging.

Brian, this is a power fault. You can resolve this by:

1) Connect the controller directly to the console to charge for 1-2 hours
2) Charge other battery powered peripherals direct with the console as well
3) Disable LEDs on your peripherals
4) Add additional power to your setup. APEX supports power adapters using this spec and these can be found on Amazon or Ebay: 5V 3A power adapter  ([3.5mm x 1.35mm], center-positive) *Do not attach a power adapter that does not use this spec to prevent damage to your peripherals.*
5) Use low power peripherals
