switching to 28" inch Monitor. Bad idea?
« on: 12:13 PM - 12/22/18 »
Hi everyone

I am ps4 gamer, I play a lot of battlefield 1&4 on 24" inch monitor (desk and chair) but when I play single player I plug my ps4 pro to a 60" inch 4k TV for beautiful 4k experience but I'm sick of going back and forth between monitor and TV so I'm thinking to get 28" inch 4k monitor, 1ms, 60Hz but I am afraid that 28" inch is too big for competitive games like battlefield.

what do you think guys? is it bad idea going for 28" monitor or it won't make any differences when it comes to competitive games.

***Sorry for my bad english***

thank you

24" is enough for field of view if you are sitting 80 cm from the monitor.

28" is great but, pixel density going to be awful, but if you are having trouble to see things well, that might help.

For competitive what you should looking for is a low display lag monitor with a smooth and efficient antighost, crosshairs also will be nice.

However, if you are looking for increase your reaction times you should invest in a better audio, with effective 3D positioning, a good headset gives you more the edge than the fastest monitor. The reason we human beings react 1.5 faster to sound than what what we see.
