razer mamba wireless 2018
« on: 04:11 AM - 12/22/18 »
hi,  I apologize if my question has been answered elsewhere already as I have not been able to find an adequate response for what I'm curious about.  I have the logitech g900 currently  however the ambidextrous design has led to longer gaming sessions to become uncomfortable and tiring because I have to utilize an unorthodox grip. I am  looking for a wireless mouse with at least 4 programmable buttons.

which leads to my question.

is the mamba wireless 2018 compatible with xim apex ?
does it still have freezing issue like the old models?
can i map the dpi buttons behind and the wheel  and the wheel left/right tilt to something like reload or change weapon?

because i am a ps nav user.

the mouse link.

It should compatible with Apex.I should be surprised if not.
7 free programmable buttons.
The mouse should have no problems was evaluated quite well by RocketJumpNinja.com

Does it come up in a forum search? If not, XIM APEX supports most peripherals that do not require special drivers or software but hopefully someone will be able to comment on it's status. If you're set on using this mouse I recommend purchasing locally from a store with a good return policy.

So i have the Mamba Elite(2018) and it works.

The older Mamba wireless works with Xim4:

So I assume that the new model works with Apex.
If no one reports that uses the mouse, you should do it as mist says

It says in that thread ( The top 2 buttons near the scroll wheel don't get recognized.)

Can someone please tell me if the 2018 edtion still has this problem?

I can remap the sensitivity (DPI) buttons (stage up and stage down) of my Razer Mamba Elite and also disable them through Synapse and save it to on board memory. The Mamba Chroma from that guy in the post can save nothing except lighting without synapse because just no real on-board memory.
Just wait, maybe someone here in the forum has the new Mamba wireless.
