Fair enough that's the best reasoning for using 12000dpi I've heard with actual reasons behind it. I also agree that higher dpi feels more responsive but I feel that responsiveness is in fact more of a hindrance as it asks a lot of your mouses sensor meaning minor issues like dust on the lense have a much larger impact.

The overall it really doesn't matter but I will always prefer 3k to 4k doing it feels by far the best for sniping accuracy wise and therefore I assume the overall accuracy is better to an extremely minimal extent.

Lol.. fine, I'll try 3200 dpi when I get sometime. Like I said though, to me this is really user preference. I could probably get used to 3200 after a week or so and then 12000 would feel off. Why you gotta do me like that? ;)

Well, ok. I just set my mouse up for 12000, 3200 and 800 DPI. I rotated through all 3 over the last couple hours.

My conclusion.... I cant stand 3200 dpi lol. Im seriously not trying to be argumentative at all. I literally couldnt hit anything. You know what it felt like to me, it felt like i was playing on my old Xim4. It just felt off. The even stranger thing is I prefer 800 dpi over 3200. For some reason 800 feels more like 12000 then 3200 does. As a matter of fact, except for the AA being slightly stronger at 800 then 12000, they felt nearly identical. Both felt snappy, then id go to 3200 and it instantly felt super tight like i had Angle Snapping on or something wierd!

I can see why Xim4 users may like your settings though, they would probably feel familiar. To me it feels restrictive though. I dont really know how else to describe it.

Everyones got a different feel though. I would suggest that if you like using low dpi though to try 800. It feels alot better and even the AA felt weaker. Strange i know, but thats my conclusion.

Cheers!

Try adding smoothing in increments of 1 until it smoothes out. If that doesnt work, try using default sync or lowering xim to 500hz.

It could be a trait of the sensor in your mouse. Maybe try a different mouse with a different sensor to see if the same issue persists?

I have a feeling it has more to do with my mouse pad and maybe tuning the mouse then anything. I use a semi hard pad SS 9HD. I have a feeling those of you that like 3200 may be using a soft pad. I also DONOT like tuning my mouse to the pad. It feels better on default settings IMO. When I tune it, it feels less responsive and more robotic. Kind of like 3200 dpi did.

The biggest thing for me though was what a difference it made at 3200. I could probably get used to it, but I didn't expect it to feel that strange. Especially when 800 doesn't feel to bad. It's got to be the pad and possibly tuning, that's all that makes sense to me. But I really struggled and that was a little bit of an eye opener. I didn't think DPI could mess up my aim that badly! Maybe I'll have to try 3200 at Default Sync. I did leave that part out. I used 800 at default (because it stutters way too much with Sync off, unplayable!). Problem is, if I wanted to play at default SYNC I'd play with my XIM4. Default IMO can't come close to the responsiveness of Sync off. Again, maybe it's your mouse pad, but there's a distinct difference between the two. Default just feels sluggish and robotic, kind of restricted. When compared to Sync off. Unless you're playing at 800 DPI, then default feels more like 12000 dpi with Sync off.

Strange, I know!

Hey RML, Iím glad you listened to my previous post about XuK and Ruhsky. I honestly think sync off and 12k is the golden combo for CoD. Unfortunately I only have mobile at the moment to use my Xim Manager and itís not letting me input your xim string, could you let me know which hip/ads/delay/boost youíre using on your current config?

I feel an epic difference in AA handling between 12k and 3200. That being said, I'm finding myself playing with TA/AA turned off more often than not in Blackout. Multiplayer is a different story.
