Lol... crazy, right?

Its a test, Kind of an explanation in my last post.

I'm trying it and something doesn't feel right  Without smoothing, the aim in multiplayer feels very jittery, especially more so with hip.

Yeah, theres more then one way to skin a cat. I can see this being too responsive for some (jittery). Actually feels kind of like PC to me though, tbh.

This is my setup for IW and MWR. Feels awesome with those games, trying to tweak it for BO4, AA in this game is just bonkers. So many different ranges to deal with.

RML, bro i was just starting to love 12000 DPI haha. What made you switch to 800 im always down to experiment with you haha!

And did you make that switch for multiplayer or just blackout

Just testing some things. There was an interesting setup created by another user. Got me thinking, 800 dpi has a strange effect on things. Im trying to get my sensitivity as high as i can "comfortably" to combat AA without boost. Higher sensitivity feels better to me at 800 dpi when using Default Sync.

I used your latest code in the first page which doesnít have boost and SA, but man its so jttery, it shakes a lot.
Have you come up with anything better?

So far it seems to be a game specific thing. What I mean is, the exact settings I posted to test, I use in Infinite Warfare and it works perfectly. As a matter of fact it works so well Iím literally enjoying that game for the first time. Itís hard not to play, my aim is that @#$% good.

A similar setup also works extremely well in BFV. But that game literally has NO Aim Assist.

However, I havenít been able to quite dial this in with BO4 yet. Partially because Iím slightly burned out on testing and tweaking and IW is so @#$% fun to play with those settings. Iím getting some insane results and itís so consistent. Iím also getting pretty frustrated with BO4 servers. I honestly believe theyíre the biggest reason Iím not enjoying the game that much. Iím getting consistent connection errors and my hit registration and tracking feel different on a hour to hour basis.

Bottom line is, When the connection is solid my setup feels solid. But that doesnít seem to be very consistent. The games kind of a mess right now IMO.

Just add smoothing back to it and maybe lower your sens a little. It doesnít feel jittery to me tbh. But like I said in the OP, I tested 1000hz and Sync Off for along time so I became accustomed to it. And itís the purest way to cut through AA.

In the past, when I first started using Sync off, I used between 5-8 smoothing. That removes the jitter, but also adds more AA and makes movement feel more washed out and less responsive to me.

You can also try using 500hz and see if it helps.

I've tweaked your config a little and I can honestly say, this is the most PC-like experience I've had in BO4. Very fluid with a tiny bit of AA, but no bubble effect and crisp, snappy aim.

Thank you.

Hip 250

Thanks ceebs, The sniper curve is interesting. Ive done things similar in the past but struggled with tracking and getting in the bubble sometimes. I think that was Xim4 though. I dont believe ive experimented with it much at 1000hz and Sync Off. Ill give it a try later.

Alright, so after going back to the drawing board and trying all kinds of new ideas. Ive found that ive pretty much come full circle. I think ive found some better settings though that meet the needs for both Multi and Blackout. This should allow atleast most of you to be able to use Sync Off without the Jitters.

Here it is.
In game sens 14
Ads 1x
High zoom .75
12000 DPI
1000hz
Sync off
Hip 68,
Smoothing 8
Ads delay 400 SAT off
Ads 50
Smoothing 8
Boost 600

hi rml i did a bunch of testing. firstly regarding 800dpi with the new xim apex features. i still do not like 800dpi as it feels like mouse movements are imperfect. this is the same reason i do not use under 1600dpi on pc. 3200dpi or 4500 will always be my go tos for xim apex.

Also in regards to to overwatch and lowering the aim assist strength it seems to me that the same problems you get with full strength still occur with lower values you just have overall less aim assist so for overwatch specifically full strength and a small boost value is definitely superior.
Mainly play overwatch
Generally high master low gm ☺

After hours of hours of testing back to a raw setting.

16K
Sync Off
1000 pol
hip 47 smoothing 4
ads 30 smoothing 4  X/Y 1.25
Ads delay 400 SAT off

For me the solution lies in the appropriate sync and higher sensitivity. For BO4 definitely also in higher DPI values but higher sensitivity beats here DPI.

...and has anyone noticed more jitter since the last firmware update or is it just me?
