My Rainbow Six: Siege Settings
« on: 01:20 PM - 09/24/18 »
What's going on guys, I've been playing Siege since the release back in December of 2015. I've started my experience using a controller and soon migrated to using the XIM4 and now the XIM APEX. After years of playing Siege with many different configurations (and even playing on PC) I think I found better settings that gives you a 1:1 feel in this game. Now of course this is subjective. So it may not feel the same to you as it does to me, but from days being logged from going back and forth on my APEX on Xbox to my PC right next to me. I feel I managed to get a better feeling on the Xbox as it is to the PC. Also, my settings may seem pretty odd but try it out yourselves and let me know.

Mouse: Logitech G502 - 12,000DPI

Right Stick Deadzone (%): 10
Aim Down Sights: 50

Hip Settings:

Synchronize: COMMON
Smoothing: 0
Y/X Ratio: 1.00
Curve: See Below

I know, I know that curve looks ridiculous. But after days going back and forth between Xbox and PC, I notice that there is acceleration going on at around the midpoint of having the stick fully moved around. Anything less makes the aim feel 'floaty' and any more makes it seem like it's over-aiming. Having it cut off at around the 50% mark on the curve I notice a better response for aiming at longer distance targets as well as quick flicks at closer ranges. This is also one of my first bigger posts here on the forums, so formatting isn't my strong suit. As always, I'd be happy to respond to any questions you have. My mouse and keyboard is listed in the footer of my post, enjoy!

The curve is very interesting but it feels very sticky

Edit: It's like it sticks so hard then you get a crazy boost out of nowhere
