Worth it?

Sup, is the xim apex worth it?

I switched to pc a few years ago but want to go back to console to where my friends are but I tried using ps4 controller again and it was like the first time. I got about 1-5 kills in cod matches.

Before I switched to pc I was really good at FPS on console. Got to lvl 1000 on bo3 after a couple months and had a good k/d.

On pc I mainly played csgo so my aiming is good I can flick to heads now and then but will xim apex be able to emulate mouse movements like that or will it be slow like controller?

Also how popular are these things? Would there be a guy in every cod lobby with one or every few games?

Your not going to be able to flick that well, but if your comfortable woth a kb/m then the xim is the choice for you. Dont settle for any other kb/m adaptor.  The xim will work perfectly right out of the box afer making a config, but with advanced settings you can make the xim almost have a pc feel by hitting the max turn speed with just micro movements.

Thanks for replying.

I tried using kb&m on fortnite and it was smooth will it be something like this with other games or is fortnite just smooth because the devs added kb&m support?

With native M+Kb aim assist is disabled. So for the XIM (which emulates a controller) you will have to work around the aim assist to find something that is comfortable.

Will it work if I disable aim assist?

Yes, xim works fine if you disable aim assist in game. Its mostly a preference thing. As said above it actually gets in the way sometime in fortnite.

You’re also limited to the controller max in game sensitivity, soo trying to turn fast wil go slow a lot of times depending how fast you move your mouse.
