Mouse not being registered. HELP

I am using a koolertron mouse and keyboard and it's only picking up the keyboard. Someone help please

Welcome to the community. Does swapping the mouse and keyboard cables at the hub help?

No it doesn't. I have tried two mice and it's the same result. I just got it delivered today so I don't know what it would be. The keyboard works fine but it's just the mouse.
Any other ideas?

What was the second mouse? If swapping ports doesn't allow the mouse to work with XIM it may not be compatible.

I recommend using this flash tool to ensure you're using the latest hardware support. Please read the instructions on the download page.

So my xim is up to date with software and I've updated the management app and the mouse is still not working even though it's the same brand as the keyboard which is working fine. Help please any other suggestions

You could try starting XIM with only the controller attached. After startup attach only the mouse and test. If this and using another port does not help then unfortunately the mouse may not be compatible. I would recommend using another mouse next in this case.
