Welcome to the community. We can test against the battery can cable. Try starting APEX with nothing connected to it then verify it doesn't power fault with nothing attached. After startup remove the controller battery and attach the controller directly to APEX. Does it power fault? When connected in this order?

Thanks for confirming. Please try connecting it to other ports on the console with nothing attached to APEX. It may be related to that port on the console.

If it power faults in any port with nothing attached try attaching the hub to the console then connect APEX to the hub. Does it power fault in this configuration?

Thanks, when and where did you purchase your XIM? I can only think to try factory resetting APEX using the latest firmware next.

You can find the latest firmware below. Please read the instructions on the download page.

Thanks for troubleshooting. Unfortunately it looks like ther is an issue with this unit. I recommend contacting Amazon about an exchange if you're with the 30 day return window.

I'm not up to date on when the store will be restocked but I recommend singing up for the waiting list to be notified.

https://store.xim.tech/notify.asp?catalogid=18

If you're talking about amazon being out of stock we don't actually sell on amazon so you would need to contact the third party seller instead.
