i usually play with the g502 but i wanted to try my deathadder on fortnite. when i plug in my deatheradder on the xim apex app it says the mouse is not on 1000hz. but i double checked and it is on the razer app. i also tried making a new fortnite config but got the same message.

This happens to me on my Basilisk when I’m switching profiles on the mouse, it’s just that the Manager hasn’t updated the polling, if you don’t notice jitter then your mouse is most likely polling correctly.

Deathadder doesn’t have onboard memory as far as I know. The default is set to 500hz.

I believe it depends on the version. I play with a Deathadder Chroma from a couple of years ago. When I plug it into my PC and change settings (ex. my current DPI = 10000, and Polling = 1000MHz), then plug it back into my XIM it seems to keep the change. I have played with various versions of a Deathadder for 5+ years and the Chroma is the first that seems to store any changes made. Previous versions did not seem to store the change. I also have my XIM Apex set to 1000MHz polling and do not have any problems.
