[ACTIVE] Connection Problem

Hey Support, I've had my Apex for 2 weeks and have had nothing but great results until yesterday. My PS4 will read the Apex then disconnect then reconnect then disconnect again. Sometimes when it does connect its reading the keys wrong or not reading them at all. I really hope there is a way to fix or I can get some resolution with this problem, Thanks.

Other notes I should add. Ive tried other PS4s. And No lights are on the device

Welcome to the community. Do you see a change in light activity when this happens and if so what color of lights do you see?

What do you mean that there are no lights on the device, is it not powering on anymore?

mouse: Logitech G502
keyboard: Razer Blackwidow V2
extras: USB hub that came with but nothing else

No light appears but when it does it flickers red quick then stops

That sounds like the turn speed notification light which is fine. You may just need to charge your controller and disable your keyboard lighting. Connect the controller directly to the console to charge for 1 hour, disable keyboard LEDs to reduce power. If it continues after this try playing without the keyboard for a while, this will tell us if this is power related.

Tried everything you suggested but still having same problem as before. Nothing seems to be working  :'(

The link below contains instructions on how to capture the log. Be sure to have the log window open while gaming. After the issue occurs please share the last 25-50 lines of the log in your message here. Note the instructions are the same for both XIM4 and XIM Apex.

Thatís a part of the problem itís not connecting to anything. Apex manager just tells me to connect the device but it wonít connect. Sometimes it will read it for maybe 2 seconds then say it isnít connected to a device

Which phone are you using?

Try this, verify there is nothing else connected to your phone bluetooth:

Close Manager
Restart the phone
Unplug APEX
Connect APEX
Open Manager, re pair if necessary

Thanks, Connecting to iOS can be tricky after the iOS 11 update. Close manager first then toggle bluetooth and airplane mode off and on again in both action center and in phone settings.

Thought it worked because it connected for more than 3 seconds but that was only the first time  :'(  tried again but itís just being stubborn

Check that you're not connecting to other bluetooth devices. Also, try unpairing with other devices before repeating the steps above.

That should work, I'm sorry to hear you're still having issues. You could try uninstalling the app, rebooting the phone, reinstalling and re pairing.

If this doesn't help then you may benefit from the latest beta firmware and Manager. There are improvements to bluetooth in this build. Unfortunately it will take a couple of days for Apple to invite you to their testflight of Manager, they don't allow their users to sideload apps. Please PM Obsiv your AppleID requesting access to the testflight.

In the meantime if you have access to another phone I recommend using that. If you have a PC you can use Manager in wired config mode. To use wired config mode attach XIM without holding a button. When the startup lights begin to flash immediately press and release the XIM button, the light sequence will be interrupted and you should then be able to open and use Manager in wired mode.
