There are full match gameplay videos up. Watching Driftor's you can tell it still has BO's insane aim assist and poor gameplay/graphics engine syncing.
Exactly this. Noticed same thing by just watching real MP gameplay and they were even playing on LAN. Sheety arse model syncing inside the engine and poor hit registration on some occasions, which results from bad character model syncing in the game engine.
These youtubers who got invited out to ATVI for BO4 preview, uploaded some MP gameplay. In some occasions they shot at ppl, who apparently werent actually in the spot, where the actual player saw them on their own screen- bad engine syncing.
Its the sheety axe 3arc version of ID tech 3 engine. The engine sync issues and broken camera angles exist since BO1, probably since WAW anyways. Every 3arc COD had massive engine sync issues, it was especially quite insane in BO2 for me personally and also very bad in BO3 actually. In BO2 there are many comparisons with splitscreen where you can see how much of a delay can be between the 2 splitscreen players.
This trash engine should be thrown away completely and something else should be used instead like UE4 or the new ID Tech engine (newest Doom engine).
Unreal Engine 4 is the most optimized out there and the servers still dont run quite lag free in the BR games like Fortnite and Pubg, not with 100 players on the map anyways.
You can expect that the hardcore outdated garbage Treyarch engine will choke in the BR mode really hard. Especially since they will apparently use vehicles and flying vehicles like helicopters etc.
I mean the treayarch engine actually choked with 12 players on a map with ppl running on walls and boost jumping around. Its practically guaranteed that the BR will have massive lag issues from day one.
To the regular multiplayer- looks disappointing to me. It took them 3 years to remove advanced movement, change a little bit here and there and call it a day? I mean they can go F themselves. Plus that change with ultra fast health regen- it will promote beeing stationary behind objects, because with the new health regen system it benefits ppl behind cover heavily.
Also dont expect double and triple kills (let alone more than that). With the initial Shield protection, ppl will just overwhelm you, no matter what weapon youre gonna use. Thats like the "spawn" protection, except now it applies to damage from guns, instead of damage from killstreaks.
Ppl will run at you with 150 default HP plus 50 shield HP= 200 hp. Even though weapon damage went up, it takes ages to kill ppl, esp. with Shield beeing still on. You could see it in the videos too.
Game will play like AW, where you rarely ever get more than a double kill, let alone a triple kill. (before you get shot in the back by someone who just spawned).
Maps- ppl thought maps in WW2 look maze like, and clustered AF esp. that normandy map and so on and really disliked the small ant-house like maps in WW2. Well- BO4 looks exactly the same: small, maze-like, clustered maps with 20 flank routes to each place- gl getting shot in the back by ppl who just spawned with 200 hp health.
You though WW2 is boring where ppl get average of like 16-17 kills and KD ratios of like 1.5-2.0 on average in TDM. Well- BO4 they created it in the way that every game mode plays like Search and Destroy. You get every kill really hard and usually get overrun by 2-3 enemies with 200 hp health.
Didnt like what I saw so far about BO4. I wonder if BR will be any good. Prolly not gonna buy that game.
Rumor has it that a bunch of former COD4 devs who left IW to work on Titanfall, now came back to IW. Theres a Reddit post about it apparently (didnt read it myself). So now many ppl speculate that COD 2019 will be a great game. Most ppl Ive seen disreguard BO4 as a great COD game. I mean its a warmed over same old BS.
