Getting Boost back
« on: 03:28 PM - 05/16/18 »
I was wondering if we could get boost back. I understand you can get the same effect by moving the ballistic curve parallel, however I believe it will be much easier to get a more percise setting woth boost coming back as I find adjusting the ballistic curve just a little less refined. Thanks

Yep, didnít work as well as boost had in the past, I know its the same thing but I think its better doing it the previous way as it is easier and more controlled

how do you simulate boost using a curve?

By moving the first curve position up.

As in it is easier on Xim4. I found moving the ballistic curve is just more difficult than have a dedicated boost adjuster. You could have a setting in the ballistic curve editor that makes moving the curve parallel easier

I agree we need the boost back especially for games like fortnite with the strong aim assist.. Curves only do so much. Adding boost nearly feels like pc to me. It was in the stock firmware but was removed after adding sync options.

Boost was never actually functional on XIM APEX. There was a bug were the setting was ignored (never hooked up).
