Overwatch settings
« on: 12:03 PM - 05/11/18 »
Hello everyone ,

I just bought an apex and I was wondering about overwatch manager settings ,

I have the Logitech G402 and my DPI is set to 4000 ,
My sensitivity is set to 14 and synchronize is set to common , and thatís it , and I didnít change anything else because Iím new and I donít really know what they do ,
So the problem is that it feels kinda laggy and jittery especially when I make small movement ..

So if anyone has good overwatch settings/suggestions please share.

Thank you !

Welcome to the community. About the jitter, check that you're using the in-game settings listed on the game settings page.

If you still experience jitter after using these settings then adding smoothing. If this doesn't help then set sync to default and smoothing to zero.

Thanks the jitter is now 97% less,
But what about the in game zoom sensitivity for characters like Ana , should I make it 100 as well?

Also, the apex keeps flashing red when I turn , is this normal?

Generally in-game sensitivity should be maxed but these additional settings can be adjusted to whatever feels best to you, especially if you're not using an ADS page in your config.

Yes, the red flashing is a turn speed notification light. Console games have a maximum speed that they allow you to turn. This max turn speed will vary between games and is a limit set by the game developer. XIM flashes red lights when you've reached the turn speed limit. If you continue moving faster than what the game allows then that movement is ignored and you may see less movement as a result. By either lowering your sensitivity or moving your mouse slower to stay under or ride the turn speed limit should result in more onscreen movement.
