The latest apex test firmware has removed the boost feature to make way for synchronisation settings. The release apex firmware had boost but I'm 99% sure it didn't work. I found boost useful particularly for rainbow 6 siege when using xim4. Have read that curves can be used to replicate boost (not obvious to me how at present) but perhaps a boost value would be more user friendly. How do you guys feel about the removal of boost?

No one “forced” you to do anything lol, updates are optional and you can flash your Apex back to the previous firmware.

That's correct, Boost never actually worked in XIM APEX.

Not 100% sure about this, but the old firmware doesn't work with the new manager, so if you have the new manager you can't use the old firmware and you can't revert to the old manager.

We can provide the PC and Android versions of the older Manager versions, but, this isn't possible on iOS.

i would recommend you to use the ballistic curve instead to add some boost
just increase the y value of every x axis point equally to add boost, eg something like this:

blue = default ballistic curve
red = new curve with boost (arrow up = how much boost you want to use)

I didn't use curves in xim4 I shouldn't either on apex when my apex arrived  everything was awesome  no complaints after 1 to 2 weeks didn't let me pair to it no more saying I had to update  then I did now I litteraly got to put my hip over 115 before I couldn't go over 98 hip  what I'm asking why did it force me to update when I never had this problem when my apex arrived  intell now ?

Thanks BUT what can I do if I had boost + a curve on XIM4? I was using boost + curve on Rainbow Six: Siege, it was really good.

Were you using skimwow's setup?

That's really the reason for this post. I miss that setup of altering the in game deadzone and using boost to fill that gap. Don't ask me why, it just worked.

I liked the boost option in xim4 very much, however i dont need it in xim apex anymore
But i think obs can give us a Guide how boost in xim4 converts to a ballastic curve in apex
For weapons with heavy recoil boost was a nice feature because only thing you had to do was up the boost to the point i was satisfied.

you just overlay the two curves
as you can see in the picture above a boost curve just adds a fixed Y value to every X point in the graph
eg +5 everywhere
so what you do is you just add those +5 to every point of your curve to add the boost too it :)
(you basically 1:1 move your curve upwards, the higher you move it up the more boost you add)
