USB 3 version probably wont work. USB 2 version should work, although recently some people have had issues with this cable.

I test it on a acer swift 1 with Intel Pentium N5000 and Win10

10 - 13% Cpu and Cpu 700 - 850mhz
but the most time 12 % @ 700mhz

Ram Use... it start with 75MB and after 30 Min  85 MB

I must run dxsetup and have paket loss but random.
I play a round no packet lost.... next round i have paketlost 12 or 20.

Supported CablesRight now the only supported easy transfer cables are:

 - Belkin win 7 version "F5U279"
 - Belkin win 8 version "F4U060", may also be called as "F4U060CW"
 - Pluggable Transfer Cable "USB-EASY-TRAN"

In addition there are cables that are not officially supported, but there are users that have reported these to work:

 - Belkin win vista version "F5U258"

These all will work on all Win 7, 8.1 and 10 regardless of the naming.

Any other cables that are not on this list will NOT WORK !!!

Also do not even try the regular usb cables that have male type-A connector on both ends. Those are not even intended to be used for something like this and might damage your XIM and / or PC.

So does the win vista version of belkin cable work or is it just some poeple that have said it works ??

I have the f5u279. cant seem to get it working on my pc, running windows 10. idk if its because all my ports are 3.0(i think) or 3.1?  xim doesn't recognize that anything but the controller is connected and movement or keystrokes aren't registered. it also says the cable is not detected or something similar.

I've had the same issue with the same cable, what resolved it was pretty simple - try the other end of the cable instead.
If that doesn't work, then I don't know what will.

I just bought the Belkin F4U060 cable from Amazon for $5 (reconditioned)
I have a question please...

Q: My computer runs “Windows 64Bit”, I seen on the Belkin support website that this transfer cable will not work with 64Bit to 64Bit, will this be a problem for me?

Sorry your having such a hard time getting the cables you want and need,
I am no expert here but I can tell you I did read where it said only the Belkin cables listed above in the beginning of this topic will work no other transfer cables will work.

Man this is really frustrating. I can't find compatible cables anywhere online (I'm from Europe). The one from Plugable on Amazon will be in stock in 11 days so that's probably my best bet because buying it from eBay from the United States and paying 30 euros for delivery - no thanks. Guess I'm gonna have to wait.

I'm in the same boat in Australia. Apparently these cables don't leave the US very often... $140 AUD to get one here. No thanks.

In europe, we can find the Plugable 3.0 transfer cable "USB3-TRAN". Is it possible to add the compatibility with it ?

The Belkin cables are outaded and discontinued since a long time, It's very frustrating.

What is the information you need about the cable to add the compatibility ?
