so ill start by saying im still fairly new to xim. apex is my first one and i was lucky enough to get one on the second store opening during the 8 minutes it was open. in other words im still ignorant to some of the finer aspects of xim. will using my pc as a peripheal allow me to use my orbweaver and be able to have the ripple lighting affect work instead of the default spectrum cycle?
My Set Up:
XIM APEX
Logitech G502 Mouse
Razer Orbweaver Gamepad
Xbox One Elite Controller
32" Emerson LCD TV
Vuzix iWear Video Headphones

Hi guys,

will other cables be supported in the near future?
I am from Germany and can't find any Belkin cable over here, the only way would be
to get it from UK or USA, but the shipping costs at Amazon are actually as high as the cable itself :/

Hi, I'm from the Netherlands and the listed cables (Both Belkins and Plugable Easy Transfer Cable) are not in any shop over here... On Amazon there are a lot who not ships to the Netherlands.

I added now also system requirements. The minimum requirements are based on testing on Chromebox with a CPU like that. I would not go lower than that.

Belkin model# F5U258 does work with XIm Link. Was just using it yesterday. When I was using it with my Xim 4 few years ago, I thought it was broken and shelved it away. Since I just got Apex last week , I decided to try it if it still works  - and it does.
I just registered to post so I could also vouch for this for anyone else wondering. I was worried about the older Vista F5U258 cable working, and it was the only cable I could get hold of in my area. I took a risk based on this post and it works no problems, I'm using it on Windows 10. Thanks a bunch lunchalot!
