Hey guys I have a new xim apex recently bought all software is updated
Manger version: 5.00.20171001
Firmware version: 5.0020171010
plus in my xim apex to the Xbox one my mouse and keyboards usb images come up
On my xim manager configuration but the Xbox one controller does not
I have tried different usb wires to connect the Xbox one controller but they all donít automatically turn on the xbox controller I have to press the Xbox  button myself for it to turn on also the xim apex does not flash green it just goes red
I also have taken out the battery pack and used the wired usb to turn the controller on and that works whenever I plug it into the xim the controller just vibrates but the light donít turn on unless I turn it on myself

The current Xbox one I have and controller is the limited edition halo Xbox.

Thank you
Kind regards
Idean shahry

Welcome to the community. You touched on this but I'd like to verify, could you please try this.

Remove APEX
Remove the controller battery
Connect the controller directly to the console using the same controller cable

Does the controller light now turn on automatically without pressing a button?

Thanks, your controller isn't communicating with the console in wired mode. Let's try a hard reset, it can sometimes fix this issue. Press and hold the power button on the front of the console for 15 seconds. Once off unplug the power cable to the console for 60 seconds. Reconnect the power cable and power on the console. Attach all peripherals to XIM then connect XIM to the console.

Note that removing the power cable while off has been reported as necessary by some users.

Thanks for trying that. There is a communication issue between APEX and your controller. Replacing the controller cable with a known working data cable should resolve the issue. In rare cases there can be an issue with the controllers ability to exchange data in wired mode.

If you find that the micro usb cables you have on hand are not resolving the issue then I recommend trying cables by amazon or anker.
