I ran around the EDZ in Destiny 2 for a couple of hours to test out EX1. D2 is 30fps, has very strong AA and the starting zone has a tonne of enemies with crossing paths, which is helpful to test the ability to track the intended target. The slow Sprint mechanic was a good test for floatiness.

Apex @ 250Hz, 3200 DPI, Smoothing 0. Sens values were doubled from EX0 to EX1. Sens values remained constant for all Framerate Sync settings.

Results -

0 - AA felt moderate but the hitbox was easy to enter. Turning felt solid.
1 - AA was sticky and the reticle was dragged around the screen. However, the AA bubble was both difficult to enter and hard to adjust when on-target. Turning felt moderately floaty.
2 - AA was sticky, yet hitbox entries were pretty clean. Turning was floaty, but snapping from target to target felt viable.
3 - AA felt low, but tracking targets was crisp and turning responsiveness was great.

Conclusion -

The higher the framerate, the lower the AA and the crisper the turning.
Conversely, the lower framerate, the higher the AA, but the floatier the turnng.
Interestingly, 60FPS had high AA, but the AA bubble was a big problem, at least in D2.

For me, it'd be a toss-up between 0 (120fps) and 3 (immediate), depending on whether or not I wanted more AA or more responsive turning. If I had to choose, I'd go for 3 for a more PC-like feel.

2 (30fps) felt sticky & snappy for AA, but floaty. Not my personal preference, but I can see how others would like it.

1 (60fps) felt by far the worst for AA...it was hard work to enter the hitbox, or adjust within it, or swap between targets while ADS. Interestingly, shooting from the HIP felt ok, it was more of an issue while ADS, so I like that Framerate Sync can be set separately for HIP and ADS.

Whatever voodoo magic you've conjured here OBs, it has a definite effect on both AA and floatiness. If we could retain all of these options, that'd be great. Maybe a slider from 30 to immediate would allow us more granular control. I'm not sure why 60fps felt like poop, but it was noticeably poorer than all other options in D2 and tweaking slightly above or below it may correct that feeling. If that's not possible, these 4 options work for me.
