[RESOLVED] Corsair K65
« on: 06:45 PM - 03/13/18 »
Iím a 4 year veteran with the XIM4 - I have used many devices and new setups on the ps4 since day 1...

I have been running a Corsair k65 lux for over a month. I just powered on my PS4 and it no longer works...

Manager is not seeing it. Manager seeís my mouse. Whatís the deal with the com since ou guys seem to have broke it with Corsair KBís from all the post Iíve been seeing? Sad part is, the RGB works

A) itís not a usb power issue
2) itís not a wire issue

This is a XIM4 issue. Software side, can we get an update ?

Thanks
Aim0

There have not been any recent XIM4 software changes that would have impacted this keyboard. We have several users that are successfully using the Corsair K65. Is it possible that the bios mode switch on the keyboard is not enabled?

I want to say, as hard as it is, I have to eat my words...

After spending hours trying to figure it out I found a post related to the keyboard not working on a PC. How to resolve this issue??

Hold the ESC while unplugged for 10 seconds. As you continue to hold it, plug the keyboard back into the PC and let go of the ESC key after holding it for another 10 seconds.

I have no clue what this does, nor did the original poster or anyone for that matter. There was 1 post only on this matter.

Drivers, CUE software, wires, XIM4 , bios mode had nothing to do with it. Bios mode is nothing more then a switch on the keyboard and itís extremely hard to ďaccidentallyĒ move it due to the location (rear) and pressure needed.

Holding the ESC some how resets the keyboard and allows it to be seen again.

Why it randomly stopped after using it for a month for nothing BUT the ps4 is beyond me

It did it again today.

My headphones rested on my ESC while at work

Got home - keyboard would not work

How to fix?

Unplug from XIM4
Hold ESC key
Plug into XIM4 while still holding
Count to 10 and let go
Keyboard blinks once back to default settings (lost my color scheme thatís how I know)
Works like normal

Holding ESC key most resent the k65 LUX
It must also break the keyboard if held down
