XIM APEX Hardware CompatibilityBelow is a compatibility list XIM APEX hardware including
controllers,
smart phones,
PCs,
headsets,
mice,
keyboards, and other USB input devices.
Please notify us of hardware compatibility issues so that we can keep the list current.Please make sure you are running our
latest firmware which will have all our most recent fixes.
XIM APEX requires your console's Controller to work: XIM APEX needs your
console controller plugged into USB port #3 on your XIM HUB at all times to function. The following console controllers are supported:

XIM APEX Manager supported Platforms: XIM APEX Manager configuration companion app is available on the following platforms (
check compatibility issues below):

XIM APEX and Wired Headsets: XIM APEX supports the following wired headset configurations:

All USB input devices are designed around a standard interface. However, hardware will sometimes diverge from the standard or require custom drivers to fully function. Peripherals like this will not function with your XIM APEX. Below is a list of USB hardware that users have reported to be not working.

Scuff DS4 has been reported to not be compatible with APEX authentication. Crossover support is unknown.
Roccat Leadr requires XIM config analog sticks to be disabled when use in wireless mode.
PREFERRED USB PORTS: If your mouse or keyboard isn’t being identified correctly, it may be because your device is describing itself to your XIM APEX in a way it doesn’t understand. In this case, try plugging your device into its “preferred port” on your XIM HUB:

ControllerRECHARGABLE DEVICES: Some devices can be run in either wired or wireless mode. When in wired mode, the device also recharges. Please be aware that your XIM APEX may not be able to source the power required to charge these devices. When plugged in, they may be non-functional or the XIM APEX may be shut down.
