Is the xim apex built in wireless ?
« on: 02:39 PM - 02/26/18 »
So, I'm new to the xim, and is it wireless already ? Do I need another adapter to make it wireless, or do I just plug it up to my xbox and sync it with my tablet.  Also how do I do it wired. I heard you have to plug it Into a pc. I thought you plugged it into Xbox and then plug your stuff into the actual xim?

There are some very nice videos made by the developer. Check them out and if you have more questions you can ask.

Xims wirelessly connect to mobile devices over BlueTooth to manage game configs. To update firmware, they're connected over USB to PC or Mac.

When gaming, the Xim must be wired to the console and have that console's genuine first-party controller wired to it. There are wireless options for mouse and keyboard, but that typically depends on that device using a wireless USB dongle.

Is there another USB port on the back of the hub. I ask because I want to know if I can use my current long USB cable to connect to the console across the living room or if I need to get a USB extension cable.

Apex doesn't use a micro-USB port, so you may need a USB extension cable.

That's what I figured.

Thanks
