HELP! G403 mouse .

So got the g403 wireless today and plugged it in the laptop for some reason it wasn’t working wirelessly, so I plugged it in the ps4 to see if it would connect, making sure nothing was wrong with the dongle,it worked but  obviously I can’t use it on the ps4 with out an adapter. So I was wondering when I get the apex would it just be a case of plug and play ??

Yes. Logitech gear is really good that way. The only thing you may want to do is ensure you have DPI, Polling, Lighting and bindings set correctly in Logitech Gaming Software on PC or Mac, and that your settings are saved to the on-board profile.

Sounds like a driver issue on your PC. Have you updated the firmware? http://support.logitech.com/en_gb/product/g403-prodigy-wireless-gaming-mouse/downloads
If so, I would uninstall the Logitech Connection Utility and redownload it. http://support.logitech.com/en_gb/product/g403-prodigy-wireless-gaming-mouse/downloads

Firmware is the software installed in your mouse that allows it to communicate with the software installed in your PC. A driver (device driver) is software that communicates between your computer’s components and its Operating System (probably Windows in your case).

Out of date or corrupted software could cause the symptom that you are describing. (PCs are much more complex for the end user than consoles, but also, much more satisfying!)

Click on the first link and then click <G403 Firmware Update> and follow the instructions to install the software.
If that doesn't fix the issue (and I suspect that it will) then download and install the Logitech Connection Utility from the second link, and again, follow the instructions.

I would recommend installing and running the free version of CCleaner as well https://www.ccleaner.com/ccleaner/download after having completed either of the installs above to get rid of any fragments of code that are left behind after file deletion, as they can corrupt other files and slow your machine down.
