However, if you change your mind and want to invest in monitor, you will want to have a freesync tech, 4k and usb-C will guarantee you are future proof and can enjoy the benefits of 4k gaming.
Also try to test your monitor before purchase. What I'm doing is to have a USB flash drive with (if I go for full HD monitor) pictures with size 1920x1080 in RED, GREEN, BLUE, BLACK and WHITE.
Ask in the store to connect the monitor to a pc and play every picture and take a detailed look on the whole screen on each of the pictures. This will guarantee you don't have a dead pixels.
