[RESOLVED] Help please

Okay so my xim4 was working and everything was fully functioning and my controller came unplugged then after i plugged it back in my keyboard and mouse stopped working. Any ideas?

What icons do you see at the top of Manager and what console are you on?

turn off your controller
unplug xim from console
plug mouse, kb and controller into xim
plug xim back into console
get back to gaming!

If that doesn't work then check that your controller came on after plugging xim into the console. If it didn't then check your wired connection to the controller and repeat the steps.

What icons do you see at the top of Manager and what console are you on?

I see all the icons at the top like normal and xbox 1

Try to keep the controller connected to Xim4 while on. Is this the same issue that was fixed by a hard reset a couple of days ago? If power cycling xim4 doesn't help then try the hard reset once more. Be sure to unplug the power cable once off.

Press and hold the power button on the front of the console for 15 seconds. Once off unplug the power cable to the console for 60 seconds. Reconnect the power cable and power on the console. Attach all peripherals to XIM4 then connect XIM4 to the console. Does it work now?

i already tried hard resetting my console and that didn't work

Did you unplug the power cable? This has been reported as required by other users who have experienced your issue.

If unplugging the controller cable hasn't helped then it could be an attached device or cable. Your using the npet and red dragon. I recommend unplugging xim4 and attaching a low powered office mouse and keyboard if available. This will tell us if power has been a factor.

Yes i did unplug the power cable. I don't have another mouse or keyboard but i don't think it's a power issue because when i attach the xim4 to the xbox both my keyboard and mouse light up

Can you remove the batteries from your controller and plug it into your console directly (using the cable that you are using right now to plug it into your XIM4)? Does your controller turn on (without pressing the Guide button) and can you use it to control your console?

I did this and as i plugged it into the console i could feel the controller vibrate but the controller didn't light up and i can't use it to control the console.

nvm i figured it out. I'm not sure which step fixed my problem but all i did was connect my xim4 to my pc and factory reset it then got new batteries and got a different usb. Thank you for your guys help you guys have good support 👍🏼
