Roccat leadr wireless issue
« on: 09:51 PM - 06/26/17 »
Ok, so my leadr was working fine the other day, but I was starting to have issues with it skipping on the screen so I updated the firmware. That's when the real problem started. Now whenever I plug the wireless base station in, the cursor on screen is constantly moving left. I thought it was the PlayStation navy at first, so I turned it off and it was still doing it. So then I tried plugging the mouse directly into the xim, without the base station and it stops the left movement. How can I fix this? I know it has to be user error.

Are you two using the 20170103 firmware? If so I'll add a note for the mouse. To be clear, it's working in wired mode?

You can find the latest firmware below. Please read the instructions on the download page.

Thanks I got the wireless part fixed by using 4.00.20160405 for both manager and firmware and it started working again. I still can't seem to get all the buttons to work though.

It might be a button binding issue on the actual roccat mouse.  I know when i tried binding the tyon is sometimes wouldnt t save.  It's an odd ball software really.

Are multiple people unable to use the leadr in wireless mode using the 20170103 firmware?

I done use mine in wireless mode at all. It's too much of a pain for me to remember to stick it back on the charger. I don't really find it a problem having a mouse cable and I got this mouse to get all the buttons and the sensor so I could care less about wireless.

I couldn't get it to stop scrolling left using wireless on that firmware. I just tried updating it again, and again it had the same issue of scrolling left without touching anything.

Thanks, could you send in a device log so that it could be looked at for support in the future? Email the log attachment to [email protected] Include DEVICE LOG in the subject as well as the name of the device in the body. Here is how to create a log.

http://cloud.xim.tech/Debug/XIM4DeviceLog.pdf

It may help to send a log for both the mouse and receiver.

Sent, hope that helps. I do wish I could use the other buttons without having to bind them first, since binding isn't really an option.

Hello, I found by miracle a method to keep a profile in the memory of the mouse that allows to configure all the buttons independently in the XIM4, but only by USB. If you are interested, I can explain this trick. My apologies for my English, I translate with google. Cordially.

Hello, a little message to ask if you are investigating the bug with the Roccat Leadr please?
