Just some feedback about the Grifta's current state of use; I trialed it in Keyboard mode over the weekend, it took me less than 10 minutes to give up on it; if I want movement like that, I'd use a KB. The Grifta requires DInput to be a viable alternative to the PS Move.

I've been watching this. I just noticed the grifta website shows a new firmware dated July 11 2017. Has anyone tried it yet? It claims to "solve d-input conflict".
I'm wanting to get one, but waiting to see if it can work as expected.

OK it works!
A Few things,
You want to be in X-Input mode (red)
You need to use the Dongle to update NOT A USB CABLE!
You need to reconfig your buttons (Don't forget ADS)
Read the PDF!

Well, it was Grifta what was fixed, not us. :)

So you put it into X-input mode to use with XIM4 (not D-input)?

Yes it does not appear as though they were able to fix the trigger looking down issue on the d-input but now the dpad moves perfectly under the x-input. What is odd is it also provides ASWD keys when you use it as well, it's almost like it's both modes together

Ok as long as they emulate an Xbox 360 controller correctly then XIM4 will see it as a cross over controller and surface it as a joystick (which it seems like they are doing now).

Although I thought that was one of things that was fixed -- the fact that Grifta is showing up as more than 1 type of device at once.

Wow, fantastic news. I noticed the grifta is no longer for sale on Amazon UK, was starting to wonder if Paul had up and done a runner. Will update mine tonight and maybe I can finally start using it.

Hmmm, I did the update successfully and I noticed no difference, all modes for me were as before.  :o

I'm back at work now and didn't have too much time to test, but the HIDKeyboard worked as before, I didn't get in game to actually test movement, but I'm pretty sure it's still digital movement. I'm a bit hazy with details as I was in a rush, but I believe joystick movement worked with Xinput, but button presses didn't register, and Dinput did not register a trigger pull as a button still.

You're right somehow I got the colors mixed up. Don't know how I did that since the support and documentation lays everything out so well  ;)
