Virtually confirmed. Interesting to see how they do supply drops with this one.

In all honesty though , if they were to add such things in the supply drops , it would be such an insult to WW2 vets lol .

To be honest the masses will moan anyway.  Pretty much anything and everything has been tried in CoD now which is probably why we keep seeing the bizarre attempts in the last few iterations.

I still play the game and get my fix of Arcade FPS action but i am sure if it is boots on the ground back to its basic roots people will now say its too slow or needs innovation blah blah blah.

I will be happy with a polished game that brings back a decent  comp mode such as what we started to see with BO2 League Play.

Funny you say that. BO3 was the first cod game I played with thrust jumps/wall runs and I absolutely hated it when I started playing. Now if I go back and play BF1 or MWR the game really does feel too slow. It really adds a whole new aspect to the game.

I've been trying out TF2 this week and having good fun with it but have some learning and catching up to do.

Every COD dev stinks and it doesn't matter what setting they go to. The problem isn't the setting or movements it's the awful map design that doesn't allow for team based spawning. Too many times have i spawned completely by myself in stupid locations near none of my team mates. I don't understand how that's okay. It leads to complete @#$% like this clip below. Pay attention to "Drknowitall" on the bottom right.

http://xboxclips.com/DerpityDer/83b690b5-28d4-484b-b5d3-bc9b07dacd8b

Meanwhile Respawn is doing it how they did it during their COD4 days

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KS6GJ7x8Moc

Just effortless flow around the map with the team spawn areas being static until one team takes over another then it rotates.

Nah , I love fauly map designs , the main reason I have high KDs in CoD is playing full stealth and killing everyone either from behind or as they spawn . I am ALL ABOUT exploiting things to my advantage rather than using them the way they are meant to be used or played.

I lose 1v1 ( face to face ) gun fights 80% of the time because when I play I like to relax , I don't play for adrenaline or trying to react super fast, that is pointless.

As long as the game doesn't reward people for just rushing in on you using advanced movements Im fine with it . I don't want wall climbing or boost jumping , 2 things that could brake the game especially if good players are using and abusing them with a shotgun or a high rate of fire SMG.

I don't know about other people but my favorite Cod to this day for online play is MW3 , that is before they made sitrep pro more broken than it should be.

To be honest as long as the next game doesn't have advanced movements and this overall mechanic ( I don't know how to explain it, the way the game feels , the way the guns work , the way character move etc )  that made its debut in Ghosts and has been present until the most recent CoD , even in 3arcs Black opps 3 I am fine with it.

As a long time devoted CoD player, I totally cut ties with the series.  I haven't touched it since January and I don't miss it in the least.  Especially the Supply Drops and the RNG bullcrap.  It's far from dead but it's definitely a dying series and because of their greed, they only have themselves to blame.

I've moved onto Rocket League and having so much fun with it.  It's a simple game in theory, but you wanna talk about a skill based game.....  It to has a DLC but it's all cosmetic only.  Not to mention it has a built in trading system.  Something CoD desperately lacks.

Yep, April 26th is:

1) CoD WW2 Premiere 'World War 2 is Coming April 26th'.
2) Donald Trump has requested whole Senate to meet at White House (remember: has bunker underground) to be briefed on North Korea.
3) Full-scale 'Terror Attack Drill' in Washington, DC area.
4) Military exercise for ICBM launch (we will launch and shoot-down a missile) on the West Coast, aimed at NK.
5) Operation Gotham Shield (federal government simulation drill of a 10kt nuke detonation over NYC and NJ)
6) North Korea will be testing another nuclear bomb.
7) My statistics homework assignment is due. I should finish that..

Looks pretty good. The couple of weapons they gave a glimpse of looked well modeled and sounded nice which was one of my beefs with IW. The single player does sound like it's going to be different. Hopefully the multiplayer isn't too much of a departure.

Funny you say that. BO3 was the first cod game I played with thrust jumps/wall runs and I absolutely hated it when I started playing. Now if I go back and play BF1 or MWR the game really does feel too slow. It really adds a whole new aspect to the game.

Lol, I went back to give MWR a try since almost launch. I tried to do the slide\jump boost thing from IW and actually thought for a moment, "@#$%, why isn't it working?" Would be pretty funny if they did an April fools joke where they just turned on boost jumping for the entire day.

Completely agree, shantz.  Been with the series since CoD4 beta, but that's it for me.  I'm done with CoD.

In fact, I've had more fun playing the PvZ games with my son and missus over the last couple of months (which XIM works flawlessly with BTW) than with the previous 2-3-4 regurgitated CoDs combined.

Far as I'm concerned, the series is pretty much creatively bankrupt, and this 'pay-to-play-properly' model - pfft, please!  Nah, they've butchered their cash-cow, gotten lazy and contemptuous gorging on her B$ micro-transaction steaks but still expect the old gal to @#$% gold bars every Moovember.

Idgaf what people think of the game or how they spend their money.  But I'm not paying for the same crap, year in year out, just to have my prostate tweaked by a group of squeaky pre-teen Continentals whose ping is greater than the sum of their collective IQs.

Now, where's my Unicorn Chomper!   ;D
