You're in the right section. This is the first report on using grifta that I've seen and I've read that it should work. What does grifta say? Is there any documentation about using with it with XIM4? I ask because they mention it working with XIM4 in their ads.
You could start by updating to the latest firmware and try connecting it to other ports on XIM4.
You can find the latest firmware below. Please read the instructions on the download page.

I thought the same thing I believe it would have been plug and play. I upgraded my firmware just now. All xim ports dont seem to recognize it. Tried multiple wires. Only info I could find is

Does your PC recognize it? Check in device manager and also open control panel, game controllers. Now press buttons and look for input/feedback on that controller's window.

Thanks for checking that. Could you please send in a device log? It will tell us more about the device and could help in having support added or fixed.
Here is how to create a log:
http://cloud.xim4.com/Debug/XIM4DeviceLog.pdf
Send the log to
[email protected]
Include 'xim4 device log' in the subject. Include the name of the device in the email and attach the log.

I think you need to put it into a different mode by holding down a button. As I recall, it has three operating modes. Did you not include instructions about that?

Hmm, that's not good. I think they have it so that you can go from XInput -> DInput -> M&K mode.
When connected to your PC, does Windows see it as an Xbox 360 controller?

Mine is working. You just need to put the Grifta into DInput mode so it shows up like a joystick. It's keyboard mode works too.
