Is it me or does anyone else feel like this game has a lag when aiming. The aiming feels just way off compared to other battlefield specially battlefield 4

I don't see that.  I do find that some shots are not registering, I clearly can see the bullets hit the target but no hit detection happens.  This occurs either sniping, or the marksman version of the 25 round medic rifle.

I think it is 'invisible' rocks, walls, etc when the person you are shooting at, or you yourself are to close to when shooting, a rock or wall or other environmental object.

I feel it too. Although I don't play multiplayer games much anymore when I played yesterday there was a feeling of input lag similar to the early days of BC2. Disabling aim assist slowdown helps but doesn't solve the problem.

Yep, invisible stuff needs to be nerfed. :)

These are the things I have noticed with the game sensitivity.

I find it random, and it sticks or holds the sensitivity sometimes.

Also is the max turn speed lower than bf3/4?

The sticking/holding you are feeling, do you have aim assist disabled?

Yes, I would have to look at it but I think by at least half or more.

Wow that much?

I do have the aim assist options off.

I agree with the OP. Something is definitely off. I am generally fairly decent at long range aiming but this game feels weird.

I didn't have this problem with the BF4 ST. Coincidentally, I started using the BF1 ST after I updated the game. I wonder if the update is causing performance issues. Because you know what it feels like? It feels like framerate drops. It doesn't have to be significant framerate drops, but a drop from 60 to say 50, or even 55, can cause the odd "stuttering" or "lagging" effect, especially when using a mouse. It would explain why it's not felt when using a controller during these moments.

I'd also like to add that whenever I get these laggy moments, I do something like look at the sky or ground (anything to get FPS-dropping moments off the screen) and it instantly feels smooth again. I am 95% certain that what we're experiencing are stutters from the FPS fluctuations.

I wouldn't be surprised if we're going to need to update the ST in the future. Ubisoft and Blizzard have listened to complaints and changed their aim mechanics accordingly. I remember when so many people complained about how awful Killzone 2's controls were, and despite GG claiming "it gives the weapons weight," they ended up adding an option for smoother aiming. I'm hoping DICE, one of my favorite developers, listens to the complaints and at least gives us the option for BF4-like aiming.

I just posted on another thread about this weird feeling I'm getting with BF1. So now I know I'm not going crazy.

The question is now, what can we do about it?

We can't do anything about it except hope DICE somehow improves performance, which is doubtful.

it's kinda wonky but in the grand scheme of games supported here, not that bad.  hardline and gta are some of the worst.  were just spoiled because bf4 was probably one of the best.  all you really can do is @#$% in their forums and pray.  I feel gross doing it but I personally play on higher send and abuse the regurgitate aimbot code that is bf1 aim assist.  sorry 4 auto correct gg microsoft edge

I don't know, they fixed BC2 late in its life. Input lag was worked on either at the end of the first year or sometime in the second year. They also incrementally improved the BF4 look mechanic over time, not that it had input lag issues but it shows they care.

Yep, the more people talking about it the higher priority it could be.
