If you ever hear the "don't be a graphics whore, gameplay is all that matters" BS from someone you can just point them to BO3 and IW.

Personally, I think the gunplay is better in IW and the netcode is just a tad better too. However, everything else about is like they took BO3 and said, "how do we strip it entirely of any personality and artistic nuance".

The ugly graphics, the painful contrast/color saturation, the dull rigs and bland weapon design, the weak "pew, pew" gun sounds. I mean, this is the only game that I can think of where the shotgun has zero punch to it. This game is so devoid of soul that playing it you feel your own spirit being sucked up through the process of osmosis. Though, again, the actual gunplay is a bit better than BO3.

Yup Phil 0 soul explains this game though I'd say the characters in bo3 didn't have much personality either though... they were super lame and had silly gimicky personalities like "hey im a stealthy guy", "hey I'm part machine", "hey I am all machine", and "hey I'm Asian"

compared to something like Overwatch which has distinct characters/character personalities

This game is just like ...made by some dude who watches 2nd rate military movies and played halo for the first time and was like... "bruh I bet I could make a sick game, just gotta get a few brewskis in and we good"

"heard these dudes like their levels not too open like them battlefield games so lets make a map thats only hallways..."

not baggin on bro games tho, gears 4 pretty much only shooter i been playing and that game does the genre right

You guys might be right about personality and soul within the game but from my view everything moves to fast to take any of that in from what ive seen so far.

Ive never been one to look too deep into every detail tho.  Very tunnel visioned XD.

Agree with everything said above. This game is a pile of dog sheet.

I generally dont complain when something is beeing copied with improvements over the copied product. This however is like 2 steps backwards compared to BO3. It feels like all the advanced movements they took from bo3 are pointless in this game for the majority of time, except to create more cluster-F* so that you can get killed more by ppl jump over your "screen" due to the abysmal FOV.

You all remember the AW map Solar, where you get killed every 5 seconds from all possible directions and angles. IW feels like you play Solar on every single map thats in the game.

The specialists this time are even more OP, its like a guaranteed 2-3 kills on average, esp. with that Robot Dual guns, that Claw rapid fire ricochet weapon and the Gangster Pistol. If you run into ppl with a specialist weapon in close fights, youll get wrecked no matter if you shoot faster, aim better etc.

On top of that, they have increased the earn rate of the specialists, now you can get like 3 times the specialist reward per match, whereas in BO3 it was significantly less.

You could tell that in BO3 they tweaked the specialist rewards so that it doesnt get spammed too much and that it requiers at least a little skill to own with it. Now you just spray and pray and destroy everyone.

Sniper rifles are dumb easy to use and OP again..

Overall this game is a huge messy chaotic cluster-F*, with emphasis on Weapon Variants and with emphasis on giving bad players some participation Medals/participation Rewards. Its like whiteboy7thstr pointed out- back in BO2 you needed to get a killstreak of 5-6 kills to get a war machine, now you get it for free, just for beeing in the game. Except that in BO3 you could counter most of the BS gimmicks, in IW its way out of hand.

Look at all those gimmicky BS participation medals in IW. You get gangster pistols, ricochet guns and akimbo smgs that wreck everything in close range.

Ive said it elsewhere already- the COD is going in a direction, that if you have 2 brain cells, you can pick up this game and do good in it more or less. Get a couple of free kills here, get a couple of free kills there,  buy some supply drops, get a stronger weapon that compensates for the lack of skill- and feel like youre a bad @#$%.

Thats it, these devs try to create the game in the way that makes every bad player feel like a bad @#$%, so that they feel good about themselves and drop more money on supply drops.

And yeah dont get me started on graphics, sounds and movement mechanics. Compared to BO3 it feels like they we went 2 years backwards with the advancement of the game.

Its as you guys said- the game has no soul, no identity. Its a boring mess of a cluster-F, that is designed to play and feel like every map is either Nuketown or Solar in IW- you get shot from 500 different angles and directions. Its a butchered version of BO3, IW and Ghosts.

The perks hardly make any difference, it really doesnt matter what perks you use- theres barely a situation they will really make a difference for you, given that most of the time you get killed from a direction you are not even facing or by some OP bullsheet, that you cant possibly avoid no matter what perks or skill you have.

I actually went back and played BO3 after the IW session. And wow- the difference is huge. It makes you appreciate BO3 way more and as I said before- when the connection is good, BO3 is a good COD thats fun to play. SIMPLY everything in BO3 is better- the UI, the movement mechanics actually work and make sense, the sounds are better, the specialists are better, the maps are better- just EVERYTHING.

Ppl made fun that IW is going to be the next DLC for BO3, in reality BO3 is like 5x more advanced than IW, its the other way around.

I could write another 2/3 pages about how bad IW is, esp. compared to BO3, but I think anyone who played BO3 and has a little common sense, can see it themselves.

I'm in the minority here, but I like the game so far, although I agree 100% that it feels too much like a carbon copy of BO3. I loved BO3 but one year of that was enough.

Considering just how similar it is to BO3, I have to assume they copied a lot of it...it wasn't just coincidence. Assuming I'm correct, then what did this game look like before they copied everything? Just what exactly did IW's vision of Infinite Warfare look like pre-BO3? This is what I find most curious about this whole thing. At one point, surely IW felt unique, like its own thing - this is the IW that I want.

Man I'm not impressed with this game at all thus far.  I wasn't expecting to much but it really looks like Infinity Ward switched their theme midway through development.  Like they were making Ghosts 2 and Activision said "You need to make a futuristic shooter with advanced movements".  They didn't have enough time to develop anything different so they simply adopted BO3's movement system.  The game doesn't feel like it was well thought out at all.

The entire game is a congested cluster because of the poor map designs.  You kill one guy and 3 of his teammates are on you instantly from 3 different directions.  What made BO3 fun was you could control the maps.  This game is an unpredictable mess just like AW was. 

Not to mention I cannot win a 1v1 gunfight at all.  I lose every single time.  I don't know what the problem is but I'm getting turned on left and right.

Souver / Santi is always salty when it comes out. That said, this is on par with Ghosts.  Just......not good.  Played for about 4 hours to make sure, but fuuuuuuuuuuurrrrrrrraaaaarrrg.  I really wanted this game to be good.  I love BO3.  Best of the modern Cods, imho.  But this game has meh written all over it so far.

This black ops 3 downgrade pack is so OP >:(
the specialist are way over the top and you miss your snipes but the bullets still
hit the target the w t f kill cams are back oh and quick scoping is way op now,no skill needed coz aim assists does all the work for you

the claw thing is way op i could go on but erm the few good games i enjoyed were
overlooked because of all the w t f stuff
If this is the cream of the crop of the maps then this game is already dead to me.
I think ile save myself from a heart attack and play mw1 rm and bf1.
If I can make a Good map in 1 month why cant these clowns make a good map in 3 years ?

BO3 removed aim assist from snipers. This worked so well and everyone was happy. Not sure why they brought it back:( It's going to be quickscope galore.

I am not sure if this had anything to do with it but i turned motion blue and film grain off as it was mentioned on here somewhere and the hit detection and general feel of the game was just off.

This could have just been a coincidence in tandem with a bad server but i will have another look tonight.  Oh and i suck at Domination now lol

yeah it s u c ks dude I've had my fill of it all ready  another op is you can pimp assault rifles to have infinite damage range ??
I forgot to mention the spawns cod2016 and they are still bringing out new cods with dire dodgy spawns fer fs sake man!

Its a combo of op stuff and bad maps make this one stinky T u r d
If I can make a Good map in 1 month why cant these clowns make a good map in 3 years ?

Your definitely on to something here Gurn before i was struggling with the aim in this game like pulling me of target never felt this bad in other cods those settings have made a ton of difference for me plus after you left billy and lucas also disabled those in options and felt a difference.

I wonder if it's motion blur i remember it causing issues in multiplayer doom and turning it down either way this has helped for sure.

Oh yeah and Dom  ;D
