Hi What You think about the mouse "ZOWIE EC-2 A"

I order this mouse and he need to reach me
a few days
now i play with the G502 but i see in the world
A lot of people advised him FPS games
more the the G502
Do you think it would work better for me with the XIM4?

Zowie mice use the 3310 sensor, which is an earlier generation of the 3360 sensor in the G502. From a technical perspective, it should feel roughly the same on the Xim4, once you adjust the sensitivity (multiply your G502 sensitivity values by 3.75 for the Zowie).

Where you'll feel a difference is the grip. You'll either prefer the EC-2A or the G502. Simple as that.

Personally, I prefer the G303 over the Zowie FK2, mostly because of the slightly smaller size of the G303, which is better suited to my fingertip grip. Logitech mice also feel better constructed - the Zowie scrollwheel in particular feels flimsy.

Upgrade to the latest Xim4 firmware to ensure the Zowie mousewheel works.

It'll feel slow if you use the same Xim sensitivity numbers.

All you need to do is multiply your current 12K DPI values by 3.75 and you'll have the 3.2K values (12000 DPI /3200 DPI = 3.75). e.g 10 sens @ 12K DPI = 37.5 sens @ 3.2K DPI

Once you do that, it'll feel pretty much exactly the same because the 3310 and 3360 sensors are in the same family. The only difference you should feel is how you hold the mouse. It may be easier to aim using one or the other.

No, it'll feel 3.75 times slower.

You'll need to make it 75 for HIP sens at 3200 DPI to feel the same as 20 at 12K.

I have this mouse, though i have yet to use it with XIM, i used the Razer Deathadder almost exclusively for many many years, until i came across this mouse, and its @#$% near perfect for me.

i am using the EC1-A so the larger version with the XIM
the dpi of 3200 is absolutly prefect, you dont need more

though only get the EC2-A if you use fingertip or clawgrip
if you use palmgrip the EC1-A is better because its slightly larger

I use the EC2-A and it's awesome. It feels great in your hand. Very smooth and responsive. I have it set to 3200 DPI with XIM sens at 33. I would try it at 40 first and go from there.

But also to note, again, i was a user of the Razer Deathadder for many years, as palm grip user with medium to large hands i just want to say this shouldn't be taken for granted, i can palm the EC2A and it feels great.
