The price is really fair, you cant build a similar PC with a good controller like DS4/XB1 for that price, not even remotely close.
And if you can get it with a bundled game like UC4, BF1 or IW on black friday or in some other sale for 399 or maybe 10-20 dollars less, it would be a heck of a fantastic bundle for the price.
Now I will also get the scorpio, not right as it comes out but a bit later, although to be honest- there is no XB exclusive game that Im interested in, plus they usually come out on the PC a few months later. I dont really like or care about Halo, Gears and Forza and those are the biggest XB1 exclusives if Im not mistaking. Not to mention that the gears will probably also come out on the PC like Quantum Break.
PS4 however- Im really interested in games like UC4, Horizon, God of War, FF7 remake, Days Gone, Detroit: Become Human, next Last of Us etc.
I find it kinda funny when MS claims to have "best games" which is a truly comedical statement at this point. Unless Im missing something, all they really have is the 24th sequel of Halo, Forza and Gears other than that there are no big franchises left afaik.
If xb1 gets a nice exclusive game, Ill certainly get a scorpio, but so far- there isnt much there that caught my interest. I hope it changes though, because Scorpio will have a 4k bluray player built in, which would come in handy since the ps4 pro doesnt have it.
I think the ps4 pro is really worth the upgrade if you trade in your old ps4 or sell the old one. Upcoming first party games like Days Gone, Horizon, Detroit become human, FF7 will undoubtedly utilize the additional power of the ps4 pro to make the games look alot better.
If you dont have a ps4 yet and might be interested in getting one - its a nobrainer really, you should spend 100 dollars more for over 2x graphical power and a more future proof console with 4k streaming capability, plus beeing able to record gameplay locally or stream @1080p 60fps instead of 720p 30fps. If youre a new buyer, you cant spend the 100 bucks better than getting the ps4 pro over the slim.
