Is the XIM4 Banable on Treyarch Call of Duty Games.

Hello, i saw somewhere that Treyarch says they will ban anyone using mouse and keyboard on their call of duty games. But this was said a long time ago. Do you know if they still hold this policy of banning mouse and keyboard users on their games. I ask this because i upload gameplay using the xim4 and i mention it in my titles as well as a setup video where i shared my xim4 setup and it showed me playing with it.

PS. I only play public multiplayer games i don't play competitive i know its not allowed there.

don't think so,the xim4 is recognised in game as a controller,and i think xim4 authority has copyrights of the game i read somewhere but the admin will have the best answer

I'm almost positive that I read in the FAQ portion of the xim4 before I bought it them saying that the xim4 is completely legal and recognized as a controller. So no issues should be had.

To be clear - microsoft themselves say there's no problem with 3rd party controllers and you won't be banned from xbox live for using them. 

On the otherhand, individual titles have the authority to ban you from access for using items, they deem, unfair. 

If you don't blatantly show/prove that you're using one, there's no problem - you won't be detected.

not as far as my knowledge reaches.  never heard of OBSIV getting copyrights of any game.

Thats the thing i upload gameplay where i mention that im using it in the title and the video as well as a setup video showing me using it.

i've done that too on my youtube as well, haven't had an issue.  i meant blatantly in-game.  (but that's not to say a youtube account isn't means for such an action either).  just letting you know i haven't had a problem with it
