Actually, I guess "cascading backwards" wouldn't really be the correct terminology, depending on how you look at it. Cascading to the previous sub would more accurately describe what you're saying. I really like this and it will definitely improve the experience with using subs. So Thank you for that!
I still have one other problem with subs though. Currently we have 4 subs total, not including ADS. In order to accomplish what I need out of subs with pretty much every game I play, I need to double that number.
Here's why,
Most games change things between classes, weapons and even attachments sometimes. Things like mobility, sensitivity, ADS delays (COD) and AA strength often change, which really changes the mechanics in game. Because of this, I would like to be able to use subs as follows.
- Primary Hip and ADS (used for SMG's)
- Sub HIP and ADS for AR's
- Sub HIP and ADS for Sniper
- Sub HIP and ADS for Killstreaks, Tanks, vehicles, Turrets or Sparrow's
- Sub for Flying jets/heli's/etc.
- Sub for long range jitters, allows me to alter sensitivity for optimal long range sniping.
Sure, I can make Primary configs for all of these settings. But hopefully everyone can see how fast these would add up across multiple games and the amount of GLOBAL buttons this would take away makes it very impractical and basically impossible.
This means in RML's perfect world, you would need to either Double the current amount of subs for stacking or add the option to customize subs (add or remove ADS) from each current stack.
As mentioned previously, the ultimate option would be to allow the user to determine this on their own. DO I want 10 games with 8 subs each or do I just want Hip and ADS with 30 games?
Thoughts?
