I've been using Henry's curve, but have to use hip send at 7.5-10, dpi 12,000 and tick at 500.  I'm not using beta, but the most recent official firmware. Boost from 50-75. I have to change the sens and boost in game, as discussed below.

I've noticed a problem with aim assist. When I have it between 70-80, the sensitivity feels like it change in game in a way that is undesirable. For example, with enemies in front of me, the movement speeds up. When I'm trying to spin around after dashing throw an enemy, the sensitive feels like it drops so far that it is cut in half, if not more.

I've turned off aim assist. That seems to provide more consistent movement with Henry's curve.

But, what I also found is that the mouse movement changes depending on the game. Some games it's faster. Others it's slower. So I'm constantly adjusting the sens and boost. I have no idea what is causing this change. It may my a mouse issue (using a g502). I'm going to reduce the profiles to only one to see if that helps.

Can someone help me with my settings? I'm new to using the XIM4, and new to using keyboard and mouse controls in general. It seems like I have a vastly different setup from everyone else.

Mouse & Keyboard: Cooler Master Devastator II
DPI: 2000
HIP Sensitivity: 175
ADS: 200
Boost: 1600
In-Game Sensitivity: 100
In-Game Aim-Assist: 0
Everything else is set to default.

I've noticed my sensitivity seems to be way higher than everyone else's. But I'm guessing that's a result of my mouse having a lower DPI. I've tried playing at around 100 initially, but it seemed way too slow. I had it as high as 275 at one point because it seemed like the game still wasn't fully responding to my mouse movements. (Although, this was before I knew about the boost setting.)

I still feel like something is off with my settings though, especially whenever I try out a sniper like Ana or Widowmaker. I feel like I can't hit anything unless it's completely still. I end up playing Lucio most of the time and simply not caring about my aim; which in retrospect, makes using the XIM4 feel kind of pointless.

Does anyone have any recommendations? I know I need more practice for sure, but aiming feels wrong in this game with the XIM4. Also I should mention my crosshairs seem to jitter around sometimes, which I presume is a bad thing.

Console games have a turn speed limit. You are definitely hitting the turn speed limit at such a high sensitivity which is going to give you the impression that you are aiming slow.

Using a 12,000 dpi mouse is not going to solve that problem either. In fact, 12,000 DPI will probably hit the turn speed limit even faster.

You need to control your movements because once the XIM4 starts flashing red lights, any extra movement you are doing is useless.

Having tried humanfemales and henry's curve, I've been just using no curve at all for a few games and been doing very well. I've been mainly playing Tracer, that means I need the movement to be unrestricted, and I need the time based acceleration built in or I can't turn fast enough.

http://xboxdvr.com/gamer/Sensational/video/20924046

Here's some gameplay - I've come gold in damage in 90% of the games I've played and basically carried in terms of eliminations.

Mouse: Zowie ZA11 @ 1600dpi
FW: latest non steadyaimboost drop
No curve
45 Sensitivity
1500 boost
30 aim assist

Hey!

I've bought a xim4 2 weeks ago and I'm about to main tracer too.
My settings are currently :

12.000 Dpi
sensivity 23
1000hertz
I'm using a curve for a quicker turn
no boost

do u think these settings are good or improvable?
and do u really feel a difference between 0 and 30 ? ( aim assist )

I've made a new breakthrough in terms of curves for Overwatch.

Using the standard STV2 Latest firmware(not the beta drop which changes the curve ratio), the 1:1 movement stops at 44.9. If you map all movement linearly to 44.9%, the have 4 plots after that ramp to 100% you get the both of both worlds in terms of movement and accuracy.

>>> XIM4 [Mouse Ballistics] START PASTE >>>
X4MB:AAAAGgA0AC4AMAAwAC4AMgAwADEANgAwADQAMAA1AAYMExkgJi0zOUBGTVNZyMjIyMjI:X4MB
<<< XIM4 END PASTE <<<

Here is an example of the curve. I'm still tuning exactly where you should have the jump to 100, it would definitely be personal preference, depends on your sensitivity too. I'm currently trying 27 sens, 3200DPI with the curve above and reking as every character using 15 aim assist in game. Give it a try and let me know how it feels for you. I'm using no boost as well.

Pharah is easy to hit my friend, the thing that truly judges a curve is how well you can kill genjis haha

Maybe u should try to predict where the pharah will be in the next second and to aim a little bit further than where the target actually is at the moment. I don't know but I'm pretty confident this could help u :)

I'm unfortunately not so comfortable with this curve :/ could u explain how the adjustment of the line either making it higher or lower affects the gameplay? I just don't understand  what's the difference between making the line lower or higher

This is the best curve I've tried as far as feeling like pc. It could definitely be improved but it's in the right direction.

For this curve to work the best, you want it so you when you are aiming with your wrist, the turn speed indicator of the XIM doesn't flash, and when you move your whole arm fast, it does. THis means when you are wrist aiming the movement is kept from 0-44.9% - which is the 1:1 movement zone. You will be able to track targets really well. When you need to turn quickly, you should move your whole forearm or flick fast, which will activate the 100% part of the curve, letting you turn at full speed as normal.

I would mess around in practive range first you you can get the hang of where the curve acitvates for you. I've been playing on the following for the past 2 hours and been doing well:

>>> XIM4 [Mouse Ballistics] START PASTE >>>
X4MB:AAAAGgA0AC4AMAAwAC4AMgAwADEANgAwADQAMAA1AAULEBYcISctMjg9Q0lOVFnIyMjI:X4MB
<<< XIM4 END PASTE <<<

I'm using 40 sensitivity at 3200DPI. I would recommend the same DPI or same near abouts, as lower DPI seems to make the movement more responsive. I keep aim assist less than 30 at all times.

For me this is as close to PC as I could get, I've played Overwatch on PC since release and just started Xbox One a week ago. Overwatch console definitely needs a curve with the time based acceleration, and delaying this acceleration unless you are turning instead of aiming is key.

Just use my curve above, and keep playing around with your sensitivitity. Ideally you want it so your aiming wrist movement speed will not activate the turn speed cap(this is when the red lights flash on the xim)

Don't expect it to make you a god instantly, I still find it hard to attack airborne targets, genjis, lucios up close, but with a bit of practice you can get gold damage and elims every game with this curve as I've been doing.

Also as Tracer, use the right click to blink if you don't already, makes it way easier to blink backwards/sideways that using shift.

Edit:

http://xboxdvr.com/gamer/Sensational/video/20995846

Here's a clip I just got with this curve, notice gold elims, damage and 48% accuracy as tracer :)

I would attribute that to the aim assist glitch which should be patched in the next drop by Blizzard.
