They do look like a copycat of the beyerdynamic gaming headset. I had beyers and they were beast. If this HyperX sound just a bit as close to the beyers, then I definitely jump on these. It doesn't have to be identical soundwise but if its better than turtle beaches, trittons, Astros in general then I'm sold. Im also curious if anyone has tried these

HyperX is licensing Beyerdynamic headphones for their headsets right?
cause they look 1:1 the same, otherwise it would be quite a copyright-thing lol
If you do go HyperX Cloud and use an Xbox One, you wont get mic monitoring on the original XB1 controllers using the XB1 Stereo Headset Adapter.  You'll need the turtle beach Xbox One adapter.  Wish I knew that before I wasted $25 on the M$ adapter.  So far I do like the HyperX Cloud headset otherwise.

Got the Astro A40 mixamp Pro TR's yesterday and returned them to Best Buy today.. what was I thinking spending so much money on garbage? Thing is, I have a PS4 and I don't know anything about converting a nice pair of headphones into a gaming headset ( and have little patience to order things online and wait; which now I'm now willing to do) .. So if you were me and you had $270 (give or take) what would you get from Amazon for the highest quality set up you could afford. Don't leave out sound cards, cables, ect. please. It's all included in the budget!! Thanks :) links would be amazing.

So I've decided to finally try to get my setup working again...

I'm on xbox 1 using xim4 (with commander), have a dss2, FiiO E6 amp, stereo adapter on the controller with a headset buddy (y-adapter) to put chat into my dss2.

My issue is that I'm getting a bunch of feedback when I hook it up this way, so I've had to just use stereo adapter on my headset when I'm playing with a party so I can chat with them.

This issue never happened with my XIM3 and if I use my XIM3 I don't get the feedback... I've tried a different headset buddy, so far, but nothing else.

My question is anyone else running a similar setup with success and what should I try to replace to see if something is causing the issues?
