New firmware problem
« on: 12:33 PM - 04/22/16 »
Hi, several members of my forum since the last 2 versions RC it is no longer possible to connect with Android phones so he stays with the 20160121.

Someone just tried it with a Samsung S7 and the manager fails or connection error.

Thank you.

Can you confirm that you have the issue with 20160405? We have several reports of the problem being fixed with this version (and, we confirmed it ourselves).

Hi. I'm using the new beta release (20160405) since the older version (20141114) couldn't connect to my phone any more (LG G3, android 5.1). But still I can't connect my phone or PC for that matter, my PC has never been paired with the Xim4 other than offline mode. I have followed all the installation guide for this process. The only thing I can't find on my phone is how to clear cache, I could only stop all the bluetooth process.

I also have another question. Since I updated, my vehicle settings for BF4 aren't working. The Xim are reacting when I push the hotkey button but no changes in sensitivity.

Welcome to the community. To be clear, you have been unable to use wireless configuration since you've had your XIM4 (regardless of firmware used)?

It's not showing up in your list of devices you can pair to on your phone after you press the P button on your XIM4? Do you see the cyan-green light on your XIM4 when you press the P button? Also, what version of Android are you running?

Nope not showing up on my phone or PC.
Yes there is a quick cyan green light then a green light. I'm using a rooted Android Lollipop 5.0. But I don't necessary need to be using my phone, if it could work on my PC I would be happy too.

To check, you are running 20160405, correct? Could you try something -- can you place your phone right on top of your XIM4 when it's searching?

Yes I'm running 20160405 as firmware and software. :)
Placed my phone on top/under/side, no connection.

Your PC and Android can see other Bluetooth devices without issue?

Do you see anything pop up on your Bluetooth devices list when you press P? Perhaps a set of numbers in the form XX:XX:XX:XX?

The only other one is 20141114 (which is under Downloads).

Are you using wired configuration right now to get by?

I see, I have already tried that one.
Yes I am. But there is another problem. My vehicle settings (BF4) are not working :s It did however work when I was on the 20141114 build, so maybe I'll just go back to that.
