Rift is out, anyone got one?

Im very close to ordering one, id like to hear some reviews and also the pc specs theyre running it on. So far reviews on the net have been positive, but im wondering if the long development has flared the hype. Let me know guys. Thanks.

I have been waiting for it since 2012, but its too expensive for me.  With taxes and shipping, its almost $1000,- here in Europe, while the introduction price was something te be around $350/450 . 

Also, I guess I am going for the Vive anyway.   I like the capability of free movement, and it already has its own controllers.

Yea i may go for the vive also, though oculus did release with like 40 games available.

guys read the ToS of the rift, its absolutly ridiculous and shouldnt be supported
if pc then id go for the vive

My local PC World had the Vive being demo'd.  Sum space skeet shootin type game from what i cud tell but the fella playin looked like he was gunna get whiplash lol

So i pulled the trigger on the vive. My gpu (s) def need upgrading now though. Unfortunately i know nvidia will release something soon, so it makes no sense to get a 9 series right now from my perspective. heres hoping the vive wont sit in a box until next year.

Though if i enable multigpu in the launch setttings of valves vr performance test my old sli setup beasts. I guess ill have to wait and see.

Though  vr devs are claiming sli ruins vr. Honestly i can see how sli frametiming can affect the experience but well just have to see. I hope the devs are not just trying to sell gpus because like i said in the performance test my rig did very well in sli. Well see.
