[Q/A] Xbox Elite Controller - Sensitivity - Xim4
« on: 03:41 PM - 02/18/16 »

I'm using the XIM4 to use the Xbox Elite Controller on PS4  when playing Desitiny.

I'm finding that the analog sensitivity to be too high right now.

As in if I play Destiny on the Xbox directly (without Xim4) with a sensitivity (set to 7 in the game) the play is a lot slower compared to playing with the Elite controller via Xim4 on PS4 under the same sensitivity in the game (7).

Is there a way to lower the sensitivity with the Xim4 config?

Under the Xim4 manager I only see the Deadzone value for Joystick and I only see sensitivity settings for mouse.

Welcome to the community. The way cross console controller works is it's a passthrough as far as stick defection with no sensitivity adjustments (or curves) applied -- with exception of the dead zone value which you can set to 0 if you'd like.

The reason PS4 feels so different is because the game developer needs to change the aiming system of the game compared to Xbox since PS4 controllers have 256x less resolution than Xbox controllers.
