[RESOLVED] Xim4 Recent Issue disconnecting on XBOX One  (Read 1553 times)

It has been working flawlessly since day one of purchase (one of the early ones xim4 sold) with my Xbox One.  Recently (last week) it has been shutting down.  I'm using it with the play and charge kit, Logitech G13, and Logitech G500s mouse.  I've tried turning the lights off on the G13 to no avail.  Initially it works fine then after a couple hours it justs disconnects.  I've update to firmware 20151120 and it still does the same.  I've always used the same keyboard/mouse combo so I'm not sure why out of the blue I'm having this problem.  Had the previous xim3 for the 360 and never had any problems.  Any assistance to fix this issue would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for that information. When it stops responding do you still have power to your mouse and keyboard and are the keys still being passed through to Managers HUD?

All lights (on the mouse and e G13) turn off and stop responding.  To get it working again I unplug the xim from the Xbox.  It works for a bit but then stops responding  again and I go thru the same process of disconnecting and connecting.

Always works fine initially then it starts acting up......disconnecting......like it gets overheated.....

How quickly does it happen? Can you plug in your XIM4 with only your controller (no mouse and keyboard) and let it sit there and see if it happens? We need to determine if it's related to your peripherals at all to rule that out.

You could do a tracelog after it happens and send it in?

Tried the controller only.....worked fine....ill try to replicate and run a log next....

Since you let it idle with only the controller attached that may show that it's one of your peripherals. Instead of doing the tracelog let it idle with the controller and one other peripheral attached. If it doesn't crash then swap out the peripheral for the next one.

Got it to replicate the issue with all perhiphials attached......how long do I let the trace log run?

You can copy it after it happens. See the post above too. It will be helpful to isolate one peripheral at a time to determine which might be contributing to the problem. So your tests should be

controller + mouse: fault?
controller + keyboard: fault?

FYI....after it replicated the problem and I ran the trace log.....Xbox kicked me out of the match....the g13 is still working but the mouse has no lights and isin't working......does this mean it's the mouse.....started custom match right after I sent u the log and the character is spinning in place (360)
